Brilliant walks and views around this beautiful quaint old town. Little shops and Taverns to keep you watered and fed. Best on the Costa Brava. Taking a sea taxi to the next towns was brill.

Not much to see in the Museum but the views are worth the visit and there is a cafe to visit as well

Lovely museum and lovely town. Well worth a visit!
Got there by glass bottom boat from Malgrat De Mar.

Tossa de Mar in my opinion is the most attractive of the towns we visited on the Costa Brava. You can either walk up the spiral path or take the little train to the Far (lighthouse) on the headland. I can recommend the walk to help work off the dinner you've eaten in any one of a number of excellent restaurants. Although we went to the Far a couple of times we didn't find the museum open (?) but the walk is worth it just for the view along the coast. There is a cafe next to the museum, a lovely place but very pricey. We both had croquetas and a glass of coke - 18 euros for two exquisite glass dishes each containing five marbles of crumbed potato and two large classic glasses of coke - eeeek! But what the heck, you're on holiday. (God only knows what the American girls ordering burgers and cocktails paid.)
I can thoroughly recommend a romantic evening stroll up to the Far. There's another bar about half way up which is also pricey but hey, you're on holiday! Indulge yourself!
