This campsite is like no other: pitches are set out all over the steep slopes, among trees and in secret enclaves, up and down the slopes overlooking hideaway beaches. The reception staff were very helpful and spoke good English. It is quite a large site but it doesn’t feel it.
We were lucky enough to chooses a great pitch overlooking the sea. It wasn’t quite level and we had to use the chocks on the sandy gravel. There wasn’t a huge amount of space and we only have a small van but anything bigger would be a bit of a squeeze.
It was a bit of a hike up the slope to the toilet block which had separate male/female facilities and was clean with plenty of hot water.
We took a stroll through the site and visited all the little bays, which were lovely- but if you have difficulty walking, don’t do it.
There was no road noise and it was quiet at night.
The pool looked good but we had poor weather and so despite our beautiful view we moved on after one night to travel south to find warmer weather.More
