Although Faro 2 may look a little past it's best, the restaurants aren't.
We ate at Broncemar II twice at lunch time and once at night. Twice we had the seafood paella, it was that good.
At night we were 'serenaded' by a keyboard player singing Una Paloma Blanca, Guantanamera and Y vi va Espagne. All in Spanish of course! A real blast from the past.
The waiters are friendly, chatty and efficient. If you overlook the rose wine that appeared instead of red, but was instantly replaced.
The Canarian potatoes and mojo sauce are better than in other restaurants we ate in, probably because they tasted like they had been freshly made and not been sitting around for a few hours.
One lunchtime I couldn't decide what I wanted so the waiter suggested the dorada. As usual if you take what they suggest it is slightly dearer, but it was well worth the extra. The fish flesh was white, fresh and tasty.
My partner had a fillet steak which he found to be full of flavour too.
The only problem we found was that you were so full you couldn't attempt the dessert menu.
