A place to be seen at sunset. Great place for people watching.
The Restaurant is very clean.
Food was good but not fantastic
Service is a little bit disinterested
It is too expensive for what you get..but you pay for the location not for the food

This restaurant is located just five meters from the seaside. Most restaurants are were simple and not to clean. This is a good exception. Toilets are clean, restaurant is clean and the staff is friendly. They offer a menu of fish and meat dishes and some fresh lobster straight from the tank. The fish meals are all nice. The vegetables and accessories are quit limited. They also offer some nice pizzas.

We called here with friends for a drink one evening and sat waiting for what seemed like a half hour and no one approached us so the men went to the bar and just then a waiter came to us.we explained the men had gone to the bar and he said, no no , I must serve you, no service at bar and I said we had waited so long which he argued with, that the men gave up. He was quite rude and when he brought the drinks was not nice at all and on top of that they were quite expensive, needless to say we never went again.

Had a great lunch here of spicy garlic prawns, ham, cheese and tomato pizza together with a tasty tomato and onion salad. Great place for people watching although their live music is a bit depressing.

In our recent holiday on Gran Canaria we eat twice at this restaurant. On both occasions the food was top quality, both in quantity and the excellence of the ingredients.

The salt cod dishes are a stand-out for me. Salt cod croquets were very, very tasty as a starter and the quantity would for a good snack as well. The salt cod in leek sauce with was my favourite as a main course, although any one of the salt cod dishes were very well done. I also tried the mussels which were enormous and plentiful - no need to hurry with this. Certanly two courses left me with no room for a dessert.

There are many excellent wines available, we chose a white rioja on both our visits, which went well with the salt cod dishes. Coffee is the typical Gran Canaria variety, not bad but not wonderful either.

Service was briskly efficient, not unfriendly but no time for a chat. No language problems for us, so no unexpected surprises.

If you sit right by the beach you get pestered by the African street traders, and possibly at high tide by the sea. There are plenty of tables where you can enjoy the sunshine and seascape and you an decide for yourself where to sit.

Excluding drinks our two course meals averaged around €25 each, so not cheap but the salt cod is very, very good.

Want good fish? This is one to bookmark.
