“Varied and good golf experience”

Salobre Golf and Resort
Reviewed 23 February 2014

Lying very close to our holiday resort (Meloneras), the course was accessible. The general layout of the course was very nice, with varied layouts and challenges. The resort seems to encourage driving with buggy cars. The first and 18th hole are a good walk from the club house area. I only played the South Course, but would love to og back for more!
The condition of the fairways and greens were excellent. A couple of shortish par 5s are within reach for the longer hitting amateurs, and there are par 3s long enough to bring forward the longer irons or hybrids.

Both Courses are superb, North technical, south easier and suits all handicaps. Buggy's a must, the views are stunning so take your camera

We played Salobre as the second of five rounds at different courses whilst on Gran Canaria.

The administration was very efficient with our booking and it was easy to hire buggies and get started on our round.

Stunning vistas are with you on practically every hole, a real pleasure to travel around it.

The course itself has some great features, not least the walk over the little bridge which spans the lake. But take your time with the tee shot afterwards!

As with all of the courses we played, the condition of fairways, tees and greens are very good. It's what you pay so much money for.

I would recommend this as a first choice for any trip to Gran Canaria.

We tried to have lunch at the chamelon restaurant after a round of golf but had no "luck". The service woman did not want to clean the table we wanted so we left. Thank good we can spend our money somewhere else!
