i booked last minute and i suppose i got what i payed for.it was 15 min by bike to maspalomas and 10 min to shopping centre faro 2. too far to walk to playa des ingles(taxi 4 euro, bus 1,20)the buffet was nothing special but ok.pool nice and clean but cold! the people on the reception didnt really smile at all and i felt i was getting on there nerves when i asked for advise-they only gave me short answers but didnt go the extra mile to help me.theres a small shop downstairs for the essentials, tea, coffee, milk ,bread water etc,but i recommend going to faro 2,bit cheaper! the guests were nearly all old couples, dutch mainly, few germans-no brits!! on the whole it was ok.would stay sumwhere else nxt time. tv costs 1 euro an hour.internet(at reception-1 pc) 1 euro for 15 min.

The apartment was very spacious. It was fully air conditioned, at a charge, the beds were foam so not lumpy but were a bit worn so debatable as to how well you'll sleep.

We went half board with UK travel shop and got it for £540 for both half board and were a bit anxious as to what it would be like but for the money it was ok.

Its in a well secluded area as is most of Maspalomas, and if youre not familiar with it...it could be a nighmare.

Its next door to Cay Beach Bungalows (or Princess Bungalows as it was known)..so if you cant afford them go here and benefit from the financial saving and the Air con and use their pool!!

The bungalows have a roof terrance which was very nice, small but adequate. The bathroom was a shower with no bath but again a good size and workable, lots of bench space round the sink and a hair dryer attached to the wall...a novelty for a 2 star!

The food was buffet style, usual and plentiful for the money, and dinner was served to you but only a choice of 2 items per course and always with chips. So say if you dont do them!

Ice cream or fruit for afters, help yourself.

Pool was nice heatec but not very well, and ok for non confident swimmers like me...

Kitchen had a full size fridge, be it old and worn out but working. plenty of space, a coffee maker and toaster. No kettle but you couold use the 2 ring ceramic hob with a pan to boil water if needed.

Overall for the money we paid it was very good . Enjoy!!

  • Liked — The quiet location as that's what we like
  • Disliked — the door seemed a bit insecure but we personally had no problem it just was inferior to what we're used to.

We arrived here late due to airport delays but the staff had very kindly left us some dinner in the fridge.
The bungalows are basic but clean - 2 cockroaches over a week, which I think is pretty good. We escorted them back to the great outdoors.
TV were disappointing -all German or Spanish.
Food - very poor - we were half board but only ate there 2 evenings. Odd selection of food that was never warm.
However, the staff were all very friendly and helpful.
It is a bit far out of Maspalomas but there is a bus up and down, but only until 4.15. Taxis are cheap though.
We'd a great holiday and will definitely come back to Gran Canaria, but not to Parque Bali

I booked to stay at the Playa Flor/Parque Bali hotel in Gran Canaria at the very last minute, so i didn't expect anything fantastic. But it was actually a very pleasant hotel. It was only the beginnning of May so it was very quiet, at times it seemed there were about 10 or less guests! But that could be because the hotel grounds were so big, so it seemed their were fewer people. It was perfect for some peace and quiet, with 2 large swimming pools, tennis courts and a bar with entertainment. The entertainment wasn't great though, it certainly wasn't lively, but was pleasant all the same. Most nights we were the only people in the bar! The hotel also had a supermarket which we visited often as we went self catering, some of the other guests who were there full board and had their meals at the hotel commented that the food wasn't very good, so the supermarket was very convenient. The staff were all very nice and the rooms were cleaned well, there were a lot of cockroaches though. There were hundreds of cats around the hotel grounds as well! But they did no harm and i actually enjoyed them being around. The worst thing about the holiday was probably the location, although it was a nice hotel, it was situated really out of the way and nowhere near the city centre so we had to get a taxi or bus to go anywhere. Nice holiday though, good value for money. I'd reccomend this hotel more for older couples and families rather than young people.

  • Liked — 2 large Swimming pools and plenty of sunloungers

Hello, tourists! We liked our hotel - Playa Flor, but at nights it was very cold! There is no heater and we maked warm with help of hair drier. There was a strong wind, because of hotel's location - near dunes. But the territory is beautiful, a lot of flowers, different plants, palms. Big swimming pool, near children pool. Television 12 euro for 1 week. Restaurants, supermarket are in near hotel. All entertainments are in Playa del Ingles (10 minutes by car). We went to the beach in Puerto Rico (25 minutes by car), because there is no wind. The beach is closed by rocks and temperature is 27!!!! The price of sunbed is 2,50 euro for 1 day. We rented a car for 6 days (120 euro and 30 deposite, FIAT PANDA). You can look our photos. Have a good holidays!

Wasnt quite sure what to expect as we booked really late and there were no pictures! Was pleasantly surprised.
The accomodation was in the form of a bungalow with one bedroom (twin beds), bathroom with bath and shower and a lounge kitchen area.
The kitchen had a fridge, two hob gas rings and adequate crockery and cutlery. The bungalows have a little seating area outside and small bit of garden, There is a table and chairs outside and 2 sunbeds. The kitchen opens up to a tiny enclosed patio area where you can either dry clothes, towels etc or sit out there...
The bungalows are a little worn and could probably do with a bit of a revamp but they are really clean. The beds are firm and the pillows were rock hard (maybe take your own). There are 2 big towels and 2 little towels in the bathroom which i think were replaced every couple of days. There is a pay TV which only had Euro SPort or CNN in English
The apartments are joined to the Parque Flor apartments where most of the activities seem to take place including tennis court, restaurant, small supermarket and a large pool. The pool in Parque Flor seemed to be full of German families where as the pool at the Bali Flor was empty - just 3 or 4 other people - it was lovely and quiet.
There is a bus to the beach at Maspalomas which runs every day.
There isnt too much to do in Maspalomas in the evening so better going into Playa Del Ingles which is 5 mins away and around 3 euros.
The journey to the airport is about 1/2 an hour and costs about 30 euros.
Although seemed that we were the only English there we still had a lovely quiet time.
It isnt 5 star luxury but its clean, basic and adequate.
The staff on the site were all really friendly too, would defo go back for nice quiet days and fun filled nights...
