“Excellent charter hotel”

The Masplomas Princess has a big pol area, several activities on offer and a varied buffet. The rooms are good, even though we bought our own antspray to keep the ants in the bathroom at bay. The location is good with easy acces both to the beach and sand dunes and more inland activities. This is a good hotel if you are travelling with children.

Have just returned from my 9th visit to this lovely hotel. This was my first visit in the month of May (having previously visited in the months of October, November or April). I have NEVER had any complaints or issues with this hotel and this visit was no different.
We had 2 adjoining rooms on the 3rd floor overlooking the pool which were very quiet. The rooms are modern, clean, comfortable and have massive beds ! The pool area is lovely with ample sunbeds and space for everyone. The 'beach' area has fixed parasols and there are plenty of shady areas around the 4 pools amongst the palm trees for those that want to seek solace from the hot sun. The hotel gardens, and indeed the majority of the resort, had fantastic flora during this visit - very pretty. If you don't want to stay by the pool the hotel is an easy 20 minute flat walk from the beach, dunes, shops, restaurants and bars or a 5 minute taxi ride (approximately 3 Euros). Playa Del Ingles with it's many commercial centres, more frenetic nightlife and lovely beach is also an easy 10 minute taxi journey (approximately 4 Euros). There are always taxis waiting at the front of the hotel and they are clean, reliable and safe. Single travellers need have no worries.
All the staff in the hotel, whatever their role or position, are friendly, happy and very hardworking but the crème de la crème of this hotel in my opinion is the food. I always stay on a half board basis and enjoy fantastic breakfast and dinners. The food is outstanding - good quality and ample choice and variety. The desserts are to die for - with so much choice you need to exercise some self-restraint (or be prepared to do a lot of exercise in order to work it all off on your return home !). In all honesty I have never had such good food in any other hotel I've visited abroad.
I love this resort - Maspalomas is stylish and offers so many opportunities for good walking which is what I enjoy and I love this hotel - it has a good range of clientele from the very young to the very old, families, couples, singles, groups of friends and is perfect for a relaxing sunshine break at any time of the year.
Will I be back for 10th visit ? You bet !

Room Tip: Some pool view rooms on the 1st and second floors are very shaded by the palm trees and shrubbery so...

Just returned from the Maspalomas Princess Hotel and yet again it was a great place to stay, we went with our son and daughter in law and they did not move out of the hotel all week, enjoying the pool, bar and entertainment. We have stayed in this hotel 10 times and as always it is first class, rooms are clean and large, the whole area is so clean and tidy, entertainment is a bit cheesy but we sat outside every night until 11 o clock and enjoyed it all, the acrobatics were great.

The only thing I can find fault with is that there is no kettle in the room, there is plenty of room so why not put them in?

Thank you again to all the staff who are brilliant, friendly, and helpful.

Room Tip: We had ground floor rooms overlooking the pool with shade from the palm trees, we have stayed in upp...

On arrival hotel looks very impressive it gets better room was clean massive bed felt comfortable straight away. pool area garden area perfect ,plenty of sunbeds .I have noticed one review saying there could be more choice with the food .I can't think of anything that was not on the menu for the 10 days we were there .fresh well cooked .The food is excellent
Not close to any night life but a short taxi ride for about 4 euro will take you to the sea front were there are loads of up market shops and restaurants ,live music here and there 19th hole bar the best ,great music till 12.30.
weather just returned last week in may 25 /30 degrees

Room Tip: better on 1st or 2nd floor pool view

My husband and I have just returned from a week at this hotel. It certainly is impressive. Very clean and tidy, food ok for a week but could do with a bit more choice. Entertainment good and seemed a good programme if you had kids with you. They do great cocktails at the bar too.
The only down fall was extra charge for safe 13.50 €, wifi 19.00 € and fridge 13.50 € a week. Plus there was no tea or coffee facilities in rooms. Some of the rooms have very limited view due to shrubbery but we found this fine as it kept the room shaded and cool.
We are planning to return next year as so impressed with hotel and the resort.

Room Tip: If you want a better view I'd recommend you ask for 2nd or 3rd floor room with view of pool area...

My husband and 8 month old baby stayed here and had a wonderful holiday. The pool is just stunning and the surrounding gardens are beautiful, and full of exotic flowers. The crazy golf course is a sweet family activity, and there is a fantastic activity programme laid on by the hotel. and there are lots for all ages to do.
The staff are lovely and helpful, and the food was great and our room was cleaned everyday and was spotless.
It is a pleasant walk from the sea, which we enjoyed.
I am a real fusser, so to rate this hotel so highly shows how great I think it is.
I am definitely coming back on a much bigger family holiday - it is the sort of hotel you wish you could show everyone. Very much recommended.
It is a quiet hotel, which suited us, but may not suit lively, younger guests.

Great hotel, the service was second to none, amazing value for money. Very comfortable beds, and the hotel is very clean. Hotel is located just down from a water park and is surrounded by a great range of mountains. Big rooms, highly recommended.
