We recently had a week break with our 4yr old son, Hotel is excellent and the pools are really child friendly. The problem is the Hotels are predominantly German occupation and also German Homosexual. We witnessed many occasions gay activity on sun beds and the Staff did nothing. The heterosexual couples complained, nor did the same. Would not go back

Visited this hotel for a week's break. The weather was warm and sunny - very different from the weather we left behind.

The hotel is situated on the outskirts of Mas Palomas which meant that a taxi was required to get anywhere.

A large hotel, with beautiful grounds and two swimming pools.
The food was of very good quality with a varied selection which changed daily.
The restaurant staff were very friendly.
The in-house entertainment was satisfactory with a different show nightly (14 day cycle).

The only drawback was the wi-fi - this cost 20 euros for a week's connection which was very poor. Surely the wi-fi could have been provided free of charge in view of the price paid for the holiday - we paid for an executive room.

I'm at this hotel as I write this and have found it first class. The reception area is absolutely massive and like the whole hotel, spotlessly clean. The room we had was reasonably large with a king size bed and a sofa. TV as standard, phone, fridge and hair dryer as well as a safe at no charge. Plenty space for clothes and shoes etc. The bathroom is of a reasonable size with bath/shower, sink and w/c. The rooms are kept spotlessly clean. The pool area is enormous with five different pools and several bars and eating places. I found them to be rather pricey compared to facilities outside the hotel. A must to try are the smoothies, €4.50. A bit expensive but absolutely fab. The food here is excellent. The salmon pasta was gorgeous. The food in the restaurant is exceptional. Breakfast has a wide variety from fruit to cereal, cold meats to cheeses and cooked breakfast to pancakes. Evening meal time has an extensive menu which should suit everyone, with the usual exception of the chips pizza and burger brigade of whom I have commented in previous postings. There is plenty entertainment at the hotel with the piano bar and the nightly show which were surprisingly watchable. One thing I must comment on is that the hotel is wheel chair friendly. I have been contacted from previous postings asking this and will make a point of doing so for all future posts. The food is also suitable for vegetarians and there is a wide choice. All in all the hotel is first class and ticks all the boxes.

Room Tip: The lower rooms tend to have the vegetation from around the pool blocking the view of the pool. It...

The Masplomas Princess has a big pol area, several activities on offer and a varied buffet. The rooms are good, even though we bought our own antspray to keep the ants in the bathroom at bay. The location is good with easy acces both to the beach and sand dunes and more inland activities. This is a good hotel if you are travelling with children.

Have just returned from my 9th visit to this lovely hotel. This was my first visit in the month of May (having previously visited in the months of October, November or April). I have NEVER had any complaints or issues with this hotel and this visit was no different.
We had 2 adjoining rooms on the 3rd floor overlooking the pool which were very quiet. The rooms are modern, clean, comfortable and have massive beds ! The pool area is lovely with ample sunbeds and space for everyone. The 'beach' area has fixed parasols and there are plenty of shady areas around the 4 pools amongst the palm trees for those that want to seek solace from the hot sun. The hotel gardens, and indeed the majority of the resort, had fantastic flora during this visit - very pretty. If you don't want to stay by the pool the hotel is an easy 20 minute flat walk from the beach, dunes, shops, restaurants and bars or a 5 minute taxi ride (approximately 3 Euros). Playa Del Ingles with it's many commercial centres, more frenetic nightlife and lovely beach is also an easy 10 minute taxi journey (approximately 4 Euros). There are always taxis waiting at the front of the hotel and they are clean, reliable and safe. Single travellers need have no worries.
All the staff in the hotel, whatever their role or position, are friendly, happy and very hardworking but the crème de la crème of this hotel in my opinion is the food. I always stay on a half board basis and enjoy fantastic breakfast and dinners. The food is outstanding - good quality and ample choice and variety. The desserts are to die for - with so much choice you need to exercise some self-restraint (or be prepared to do a lot of exercise in order to work it all off on your return home !). In all honesty I have never had such good food in any other hotel I've visited abroad.
I love this resort - Maspalomas is stylish and offers so many opportunities for good walking which is what I enjoy and I love this hotel - it has a good range of clientele from the very young to the very old, families, couples, singles, groups of friends and is perfect for a relaxing sunshine break at any time of the year.
Will I be back for 10th visit ? You bet !

Room Tip: Some pool view rooms on the 1st and second floors are very shaded by the palm trees and shrubbery so...

Just returned from the Maspalomas Princess Hotel and yet again it was a great place to stay, we went with our son and daughter in law and they did not move out of the hotel all week, enjoying the pool, bar and entertainment. We have stayed in this hotel 10 times and as always it is first class, rooms are clean and large, the whole area is so clean and tidy, entertainment is a bit cheesy but we sat outside every night until 11 o clock and enjoyed it all, the acrobatics were great.

The only thing I can find fault with is that there is no kettle in the room, there is plenty of room so why not put them in?

Thank you again to all the staff who are brilliant, friendly, and helpful.
