I have just returned from a seven day stay at the Dunas Mirador.
It is worthy of the three stars, perhaps even four. On the whole the staff were efficient, cheery and courteous. One trainee in reception became rather harassed under pressure; he should not have been put in that position and claiming he was under training is no excuse. There was a good selection of choices at every meal and the dining room staff were particularly efficient. Some guests complained about the number of stairs throughout the complex but in my brochure this was pointed out and they had no reason for complaint. The bus to the beach was a boon.
My room was spacious, TV had seventeen channels and there was a ceiling mounted fan. The temperature ranged from 24 to 27 degrees and if it were much hotter I would had looked for air conditioning, so if you are going in the height of summer I would bear that in mind.
Evening entertainment was negligible but for a couple of keyboard singers at the pool bar who were quite good. I didn't visit the disco. I enjoy music but don't care for noise.
I had an excellent holiday and the best recommendation I can give is that I would return at the same time of the year.More
