on arrival we had to wait for our room, but only about 20 minutes, the bungalows are nice and spacious, but if your a couple and want a double bed then don't stay here as there are no double beds in the hole complex, so we just pushed two single beds together, you have a kitchenette which has a double hob heats up quick and works well, in fact it was a life saver for us, will explain why when I come to the food, you have no kettle or toaster unless you hire them, we just used a pan to heat water for hot drinks, the bedroom was a good size and plenty of wardrobe space, there was a safe there which you had to hire for 10 euros, also no air conditioning so you have to hire a fan also 10 euro for one week, the bathroom was ok has a good shower in the bath, the living area was of good size with sliding doors which led on to the terrace which had a table and chairs, high walls so was pretty private, tv you have to hire for 10 euro for 7 days, the pool was pretty small and would not have room to swim if you were to go when the complex is full, has a small kids pool, there are pool table's, table tennis table, and an air ball table, now the food we were all inclusive wow what a mistake, breakfast was the best meal there it consisted of cereal salami, ham, cheese, toast or roll's, and jam's, then you has bacon, fried eggs, cocktail sausages cooked with onions, baked beans, and very burnt and dry scrambled egg, good choice of coffee and juice, you also had tinned fruit and water melon, like I said best meal they did, lunch and dinner for bad, a choice of burgers, hot dogs, chips every day, then you had a frozen mixed veg, with a choice of breaded fish, a stew kind of dish which was mainly pork, we had beef once, and once we had very dry chicken drumsticks cooked in garlic and onions, that was it a choice of four hot dishes which by the taste of them my 15 year old son could have cooked better, you also has a choice of salad which was lettice, cucumber, tomatoes, and onions and sometimes beetroot, and the normal salami, ham, and cheese, then a choice of water melon ice cream, jelly, and some pink stuff don't know what that was other than disgusting, im not a fussy eater I like almost any food but most of this had no taste and it was never hot just warm, we were all inclusive but we did eat out most of the time other than breakfast, and when we did eat there we stuck to the water melon, honestly the food is really bad even for this rating of hotel, entertainment at night was two nights bingo, a magic show one night, live music one night and a karioki one night all finished between 10 and 11, but if you sat at the back of the restaurant you could not here it anyway, the staff in the hotel are friendly and most speak English, we stayed there for 9 days we had our bins emptied every other day, had clean towels on our fourth day, and never had our bedding changed once, we left 2 euro's on the side so we could weigh our cases the next morning when we left but the cleaners took it so don't leave anything laying around, there is a bus that picks you up 1 minute's walk away at 9.20, 10.20, 11.20 to take you to the beach and picks you up at 2pm, 3.30 and 4.30 to bring you back this is free, and takes about 15 minutes depending on how many other hotels it goes to to pick other people up, but a cab from the hotel is between 3 and 4 euros to maspalomas beach and 4 to 5 euros to playa del ingles beach, so very cheap. thee is a mini market on the complex but best to go to the spar just two mins walk away they have everything you need there, and a nice restaurant next door which was a life saver. the yumbo centre is good fun for daytime shopping from 11 am and in the evening restaurants, bar's with entertainment and mini golf. over all its clean, friendly, but entertainment and food very bad, I would not stay here again because of that reason, please believe me the food was really bad, well hope this helps, we stayed the mid September 2013,

Room Tip: we were in 119 and it was very quiet and private which was good,

Have just returned from a two week stay in this apartment. Staying in room 128. We had no problems with the staff. No sign of any cockroachs only the ants which were quickly despatched with a brush. Had a kettle. Toaster and fan was hired along with the tv and spar shop was near to make self catering easy. Had plates cups. Glasses. Everything. All in all will probably be back next year.

I stayed here with friends and my husband. i dont really have anything nice to say about this hotel. i know it was a cheap break and we had a really good deal for a 10 night stay but thats it. The reception staff were very very rude, especially the men. Our room was never cleaned while we were there, we had to do it ourselves. We even had to take our own rubbish out in the end. The room was full of ants. I know you get this in hot countries but this was beyond, even in the cupboards and in the beds. Our bedsheets were not changed in the whole 10 night stay. We never had clean towels until half way through the holiday after complaining to reception twice for new ones. It was only a 3* but still they do need to have some standards. We had one cereal bowl between us and a filthy fridge. There were long dark hairs all over the apartment and in the bath and sink. Not mine as im blonde. The pool was discusting and never cleaned either, nice bits of whatever it was floating all around. The sunbeds were very uncomfortable and left you with a bad back as with the beds in the rooms. There was a constant smell of sewage all around the hotel. I cant comment on the food as we went self catering but there was a lovely resturant/bar 2mins walk up the road next to the spar shop. We ate there most days and the staff were lovely, well worth a visit. We always take travellers cheques with us when we go away and have never had a problem changing them in the hotels, even in Gran Canaria. This hotel will not change them! Even tho there is a massive board in reception saying " we change travellers cheques"! There were bars on the windows of the bedroom and to secure the patio doors at night we had a metal pole to place in the doors runner to keep it shut. Would i go back to this hotel??? Never. My advice would be to save a little bit extra and stay somewhere nicer.

Room Tip: dont bother

Arrived at hotel by shuttle bus, got to reception where staff directed us to our studio, which was located in a lovely are, views were amazing. The studio bungalow was spotless, was cleaned 5/7 days. Towels replaced when asked for. Hotel is in the middle nowhere which was ideal for us to get away from daily life although taxis cheap & free bus took you to the beach daily and returned throughout the day. Food was buffet style, warm and varied. Drinks were ok. Entertainment was scarce although thAt suited us. Not many kids again ideal for us. Staff were friendly. Recommend hiring safe and putting your belongings in as heard been thefts but none whilst we were there. All in all fantastic holiday and weather superb. Thank you jet 2 holidays.

Just got back from a 7 night stay here 18th - 25th... And counted down the days I have stayed in GC lots of times at different hotels this by far is the worst hotel ever ... Stayed in room 96 although quiet the door was held locked by a metal bar placed in the doors runner to keep it shut... Bedroom windows have metal bars to protect you from being robbed (felt like a prison) ... A few apartments had been broken into while there and although they do give you a safe not all of them lock right like ours !! We had gone self catering and this is what it consisted of for an apartment for 3, a two burner electric ring 1 fork a tin opener and two bowls ??? No plates no cups no knifes not even a toaster or kettle and when you ask at reception the staff are REALLY REALLY Rude... If you still go here you will know who I'm on about a lady with dark hair and a kneck scarf behind reception... While talking to her the phone rang she kindly put her finger in my face while I was talking to answer the phone !! Bar closes at 11pm after that you have to either spend 6 euro into town each way or go back to your room ... No entertainment apart from bingo twice a week which is a fix as all the old Spanish ladies play and karaoke which starts at 8.30 and finishes at 10pm?? The sewers are vile at night strong strong smell of you know what !!! Cockroaches in every single part of this place and even the odd mouse spotted ... Another guest had her room cleaned out by house keeping and then they kindly spilt bleach over her clothes and left it like it... Ate from the bar twice until cockroaches discovered and never again!!

We just came back from our 2 week stay here, ok once we got over the shock we were in the middle of no where we had a great time, theres only 3 or 4 restaurants around locally, but a free bus to the beach where theres loads of eating places and shops, and very cheap taxi's, we got around and saw some lovely places, a must place to visit is the dunes by day and the beach and the yumbo centre by night, over all the holiday is what you make it, the foods not 5 star ratings but bearable and the rooms are cleaned 5 times a week, a safe is a must tho, i definitely would recommend

Room Tip: All reasonable, but i think the road outside is a bit busy, so would ask for pool side
