Just got back from a week there - lovely and clean, good food, beautiful pools and always a sunbed. However . . . . . . paying for the fridge in the room!! 3 euros a day! Paying for replacing the pool towels! Very difficult to find some drinking water at times during the day - the reps answer was to go to the supermarket over the road - very good as we were all inclusive. Not impressed. Oh, and they insist on credit/debit card details up front - just in case they want to charge you for something!

Quite a trek - at least 30 minutes - to the beach with no courtesy bus or anything, although taxis are available.

The staff all appeared as if they had been told not to fraternise with the guests; efficient, prompt, good at their jobs but my goodness not at all sociable or chatty. A smile never hurt anyone and certainly helps on holiday.

Also: entertainment. Very very poor, apart from one Spanish dancing troupe on our last night who were absolutely superb.

On the up - very generous with the drinks, spotlessly clean, comfortable beds and nice rooms. When we first arrived weren't impressed with the island or the hotel but after travelling around we realized that we appeared to have the best hotel by far in the area. Won't be rushing back.

Room Tip: There are 3 floors, all accessible by lifts, not the best wheelchair access but they are accessible...

Got back a couple of weeks ago from Tabaiba princess and cannot complain! Sunshine, food when I want it, drink when I want it and a bed to sleep in at night. A great sized pool, plenty of food choice throughout the day. Not sure I could do any longer then a week but that is just my opinion, was just what I needed and would recommend this hotel to anyone!

What a lovely hotel!!
As always the weather in gran canaria was scorching hot so I would normally be satisfied with just a good bed to get my head down on.
However this hotel was so much more!
Wonderful staff whom are more than happy to assist you no matter how big or small the task. Huge hotel which is very spacious, so you never really feel as though there are a great number of guests staying. Immaculate and clean throughout, can't fault it!
Rooms are large and clean, huge bath/great shower, the most comfortable beds great air con and balcony views over pool bars.
Breakfast was fantastic, huge choice, I enjoyed the fresh fruit and yogurt every morning. Evening meals where fantastic also with such a great variety on offer, I ate more in a week then I would normally consume in a month at home.
Evening entertainment was a little naff to be honest but that's just my personal taste.
Waiters were lovely and are worthy of every tip you leave them.
4 huge swimming pools and never a problem getting a sunbed so no need for the 6am alarm clock to get towels on sunbeds (although some guests did anyway)
I really don't have nothing bad to say about the hotel.
25 min walk to sand dunes or 3€ taxi ride.
Will definitely stay here again xx

Just returned from a weeks holiday and although on the whole the experience was good the evening entertainment was extremely poor. The alcohol was cheap and cheerful. On a plus there was a wide variety and plenty of food.

We booked this hotel after seeing a bargain deal that just seemed to hard to resist. Having looked at the reviews I was slightly concerned as to what we would get on our arrival how wrong I was. It is a fantastic hotel and looked so beautiful as we pulled in to the car park. Once inside we were quickly checked in, told about the all inclusive bars and restaurant and told due to late arrival the restaurant was shut but some snacks had been left out for us. What a nice touch!

We took the lift to the third floor which I was very pleased about although the corridor felt like it was never ending. The too was spotless we two single beds together which is what you always get. It was spacious and even had a sofa bed to sit and watch tele on if you wanted. I would recommend asking for an extra pillow though as you are just given one which is very hard.

We went downstairs to enquire about the safe. Whilst there we decided to pay for the use of the fridge and also wifi code for the week. In total that cost me €50 I'd only been there 10mins!!!! The wifi is well worth the cost and I was able to face time home up in our room.

The hotel is massive and you can easily end up on the maspalomas side without realising. There are numerous pools that you can use with plenty of sun beds. There wasn't any need to reserve with towels as us Brits normally have to do.

For all inclusive there is a pool bar that serves drinks and then a snack bar that serves the basics like chips, burgers, salad etc.

The restaurant is really good for desserts however sometimes it would seem that unless you are a massive seafood fan then you will be leaving on chips. Sometimes I even visited the kids section due to it being so bad but I am a fussy eater my other half had no trouble at all.

Outside the back gate there is a little supermarket that has all the basics you may need. There's also a Chinese but it never seemed open whist we were there. The beach is a nice 20minute stroll away or about €4 in a taxi away. If you fancy a nice meal out go up to faro boulevard where you will find top end restaurants and also designer high end shopping.

The entertainment downstairs was poor but we were not interested in that and choose to sit up in the piano bar. The drinks were perfect nothing to be complained about. The beer was estrella and cava was included in the all inclusive.

Everywhere was spotless and the cleaning staff were always happy and polite which wasn't the same for some of the bar staff.

Overall this was a perfect holiday and hotel for what we wanted, a chilled and relaxed break away in the sun.

We visited this hotel in March 2013
The weather was not kind to us, we had a tremendous storm one night that washed soil out of the planters on our balcony, all credit to the staff when they cleaned all the mess up the following morning.
The room was clean and comfy but fairly basic, not a problem because we don't go on holiday to stop in our room.
Staff were all very friendly, drinks and food were excellent, we did go all inclusive.

On the down side, there were lots of stray cats about the place and my wife did spot at least one taking a poo in the man made beach by the large pool, not a lot the staff could do about the cat problem but just take care.

One other thing for poolside lovers was that there did not seem to be lots of parasols to shade under.

We had a great holiday and I think it was value for money, though nothing special we did recommend it to our Daughter as a place you can just chill and relax.
