I must be our 7 or 8 visit. Years ago we used to come almost once a year for 2 or 3 weeks with our children. A safe place for kids with lovely surranding, great pool and playing ground.
This time we stayed two weeks in October 2012 in a so called luxury house (no 228). Two nice bedrooms, a lovely livingroom together with a well equipt kitchen and a large bathroom.
Cleaning perfectl Very friendly staf. We had booked a luxury house but the only really advantage were a bigger tv screen in the livingroom and a small one in the biggest bedroom. The furniture inside as well as outside is the same. One ONLY got a kind of wellcome basket with food once when you arrived and not for the second week as well Dont spend the extra money!

From 26/5-2/6 2012 I visited this resort for the second time - this year together with 5 grandchildren age 4,6,8,11 and 12 years and the two youngest' other grandparents, no parents. Weather perfect 24-26 C degrees. We had two almost neighbouring houses. I prefer evening view from the roof terrasse over the Bay (West) and (North) towards the old Meliehha up hill
The children like having breakfast in the main restaurant providing everything they need - and much easier/no cleaning etc. for us at home. No dishwashers in the otherwise very well equipped houses, the whole area is kept extremely clean and tidy. The houses are even cleaned/towels etc changed once mid-week . It is a safe haven for children and even outside season the guides offer short free events for them taking consideration to their age/abilities. The kids quickly find their way around the whole resort. The large pool area is perfect. Bring your own towels from home or rent on site. Very friendly and helpful personnel. I recommend pre-booking of seats in the plane when travelling with kids to be sure of sitting together, and also breakfast at the resort. I prefer diffent restaurants in the evening. The local Joseph's Bar at the pool is fine also for dinner, otherwise I recommend "Ix-Xatba Restaurant", Maria Road approx. 5 minutes walk from the end of the beach area up hill towards the old town. Extremely friendly personnel, good menu also for kids, very reasonable prices. Another more gourmet-like is "Rebekah's Restaurant" in an old renovated house on the heights in the old city. Very nice selection of food, friendly service. The restaurant even offered to pick us all up and later drive back to the holiday resort without extra charge. More than value for money !

Room Tip: All houses are alike with roof terrasses. I suggest internal colour codes black or darkblue to provide viewin the evening sun over the bay and up hill towards the old Meliehha town.(situated West/North)

Lots of room for the entire family. Some of my best holiday-memories come from this place.

Just returned from 1 week stay together with my husband. First of all i would like to say that this center is a FAMILY-center it is a paradise for small children. Also a place where grand-parents take their grandchildren, and where the grandparents go for holiday by themselves. all you need is there.
You live in a big bungalow with two large bedrooms, A big and very practical bath-room (no bath-tub) obs!! the hair-dryer is not good, bring your own) And bring adaptor there is only one,
in the living-room behind the TV)
Own closed yard with gardenfurniture, top-roof terasse with sun-beds.
The supermarked has got a little of every-thing (perhaps a little expensive).Nice food at the restaurants,( we used, mainly at evenings, the Great Dane)
Go for walks, if you go to the red castle , and continue past it, as fahr as possible you have an excellent view all the way.
Do also take a day in Valetta, it is small but packed with interesting buildings, squares , and nice cafe´s where you can just sit and watch all the diff.kinds of people passing by.
(take the bus from the roundabout)
It was a very nice week, but as we are a coupple in mid-fifties, we will probably go for a hotel in Valetta or Slima next time.

In September we went a group of 10 persons from age 18-77 to Mellieha Holiday Centre. We had 3 lovely bungalows with roof terrace and own yard.
The centre is located near the beach and has 3 nice restaurants, a supermarket, pool etc.
The staff is really helpful.
We went to the small town nearby, Mellieha, where we eat at some local restaurants. The bus for other places is just in the front of the centre so it`s easy to come around.
