Situated on a high spot where one can admire one of the nicest scenarios in Malta viewing Ghadira bay with Comino and Gozo at the back. Our room was clean. We had a nice sea view room. Hotel is excellent for those travelers looking for a quiet relaxing experience, admiring nice views far from the maddening crowds.

Room Tip: Room with a view

Just got back from a great week at this hotel, fantastic location, very clean, good food, and hard working staff. This is not a 5 star hotel, but then you are not paying for one. the hotel Panorama represents excellent value for money.

Room Tip: Book a sea view room

We stayed at this hotel for 1 week, The first night we were put into a corner room facing a wall, we were booked into a room with a view, the food was terrible, we were all inclusive and ate out every day, the hotel is immaculate with beautiful views. We arrived around 9-30, every hotel we have stayed at has had food waiting for us with being a late arrival, not this one, on our last day we were due to leave the hotel at 6-30 in the evening, we were informed that the all inclusive deal finished at 2.o'clock and anything we ate or drank had to be paid for, i have never ever heard of such rubbish and will be looking further into this. One day we had to walk to the 4th floor as the staff were taking lining to each floor and informed us that it would be a 20 min wait, fine for us but the hotel is full of pensioners!.
I will never stay at this hotel again, the worst all inclusive hotel we have stayed at

A fantastic location for a Hotel with a fabulous view, the hotel staff were helpful and friendly including Jo who went above the call of duty to retrieve our boarding passes left in the taxi by mistake, he made several phone calls on our behalf while we were stuck at the airport on our way home. The hotel was clean and we had fresh towels every day, our rooms were cleaned and tidied daily. The food was basic a bit like a canteen but we were never hungry, and we could always make a meal to be enjoyed, the blue cheese and cheddar to finish the evening meal was excellent. The lunch time menu had more choice and was good value. We found swimming in the pool a great experience looking out over the bay. Yes there are cats, not that many I have been to hotels with more !, and I did not smell cat around the poolside, the staff shooed the cats away from entering the hotel and after all they are there to do a job. Our group of 4 found the hotel to be good value for money we had entertainment 4 nights out of the 6 we were there. The hotel was small enough for us to be friendly with the other guests which enhanced the experience. Overall the package was good value for money and Jo we found to be pleasant and helpful.

Good points...emmmm...emmm? Nice view..emmm...emmmm....inside reasonably clean...emmm..; quiet, definitely, but this is due to the largely middle-aged clientele.Well that's it, really... yes..hard working, but harassed-looking staff. Expect the very basic and then much less.
The manager is, however, so far below basic that there is a hole in the bottom of basic through which he falls into oblivion, from where you can't retrieve a smile or even a polite word, or the tiniest but of civility, despite genuine and deliberate attempts.
Then there's the non-existent wi-fi (in our room, at least; ok though in the lobby) which was like reviving a scene from a Tony Hancock episode with the TV aerial. The breakfast was such an insult to 'English' you could perhaps claim there was a racist element in there somewhere.
There's good camaraderie outside in the sun, if you are the least bit sociable, but here you risk death by a thousand cats, feral and untreated, at their watering hole (otherwise referred to as a 'swimming pool)'.The cats give you some of the water back, however; you can smell it....
We had a good holiday only because we know how to laugh, (like John Cleese), we didn't spend too much time at the hotel, and because I have some plumbing knowledge...it may be useful to be a lift engineer, too; it broke down, with little concern from those with responsibility, though working later on in the day. Be warned..... a nicely located hotel - but you must limit your expectations. It has great potential - but under extremely poor management.

Room Tip: most rooms have balconies and good views

Went as a single traveller, OAP, and got the old 'bait and switch' deal as others have reported. Booked and paid for double room with sea view for sole use and, on arrival, was given key to a 'closet' at the back of the hotel. Complained to dis-interested unhelpful 'manager' but had to spend one night in 'the hole' before being moved to a double room at the side still with no sea view. Only thing good about the place is the situation and view which is a shame as i could be terrific. The manager of the travel company I booked with tells me he knows the hotel and has told them never to put his guests in these single rooms. He is at present back in Malta to get some reimbursement for me from the hotel. A nightmare!!!!

Room Tip: Book in another hotel, some good-looking ones nearby.

what a mistake we made going to this hotel. The manager was unfriendly and only seemed interested in the money he could make from you.The poolside ,loungers, tables & chairs were home to feral cats making using the pool & area impossible. The cat smell was strong when we went to walk round .They drank from the pool and made there beds on the loungers. One night on return to hotel 12 meet us.The breakfast was not what I expected from 3 star hotel beans, egg everyday with alternative sausage (under cooked) or (burnt) bacon. The drinks tasted of nothing from a machine.Plugs in the room looked unsafe,The wifi which is supposed to be all over the hotel only happened occasionally. The bed our son slept on was a broken frame fit for the tip. There was graffiti in the lift.On the good side the towels were changed every day the view was brilliant, but I think we must have had a bit of luck there. I would go to Malta again but would never choose this hotel.

Room Tip: book at another hotel
