My partner and I stayed at the Seabank in Sept 2013 for 1 week, we wish it had been 2, great location and great hotel. I have stayed at numerous all in hotels and the sea bank can hold it own. Pound for Pound this takes some beating.

We’ve just returned from a week at the Seabank, and I’ve got to say I was very impressed.

We travelled as a couple but as part of a larger adult party (and two children), all attending a wedding at the hotel.

HOTEL
The hotel itself has just been renovated and this shows as it was very clean, modern and spacious.
From what I saw all the rooms were done in the same simplistic design giving the impression of lots of space and light.

The receptionist staff were very friendly, and there is also a luggage room should you require it.

ROOMS
The rooms themselves were clean and following in suit with the rest of the hotel, spacious. We were told by several members of the party that our room and balcony were twice the size of theirs! And we had a side sea view room. So not bad really!

The maid service was daily and towels changed as often as you felt necessary – every day if you required, bi-daily otherwise.

The room came equipped with tea & coffee making facilities, filled daily if required. A free digital safe in the wardrobe and wall mounted LCD TV. There was even a Yellow Pages, along with the obligatory Bible!

Bathroom had everything you need including bath and shower (2 headed – one hand held and one walled fixed). Again, all modern and clean.

FOOD & RESTAURANTS
The food at the hotel, I thought was some of the better All Inclusive food we’ve ever had around the world. There was always plenty of choice in the main restaurant and the pool restaurant, and because there are no real time restrictions on eating – there’s always something open where you can get a drink or food from – it made it more relaxed during the day.

At night, there were 4 other restaurants to pick from on the resort, Asian, Italian, Maltese & Brazilian. We ate at all of them apart from the Maltese. All were of a good standard and the food good. However, if you are going to the Italian restaurant, don’t make the mistake we did and go on a weekend as it’s also open to the public and gets extremely busy – it’s also a kids party restaurant down one side. I found we were treated more as second class customers over the paying customers. You also can not get spirits in the Italian either on All Inclusive, you have to go back in to the hotel to get these, as they are all imported and you have to pay separately.

I think this would be my only bad point about the hotel. Either include it all or don’t bother. Simple!

All the bars close at 11PM also, the only bar open later is the Punent Bar with the terrace at the front of the hotel, however this shuts at 12AM. There is nowhere open later than this.

POOL & ENTERTAINMENT
Pool was very big, with a separate children’s pool & play area and also a separate Adults Only pool, with enclosed area.

The Animation Team were very good, always trying to get everyone involved, and had full daily schedules of things to do. They also put the night show on in The Dome, so bear a thought for them, as they do work extremely long 14 hour days!

WEDDING
The wedding we attended was fabulous, the Seabank know exactly what they are doing when it comes to arranging weddings. The ceremony, food, DJ, everything was great and it all went without a hitch.

Overall, if I could move the Seabank elsewhere, I would definitely visit again as it is a fabulous hotel. But however, in Mellieha Bay itself, there is literally nothing to do in the immediate vicinity around the hotel at night. Therefore, it’s highly unlikely we’ll return.

We stayed at the lovely Seabank for 2 weeks until 28th September. My husband and myself had a brilliant time there. All the good things people are saying about it are all true and then some. We haven't a bad thing to say about this hotel. Great rooms, spacious balconies, lovely very hard working staff, from the management, animation team, bar staff, restaurant staff, (my husband made a point of thanking the chefs and kitchen staff who very often work behind the scenes and don't always get the thanks they deserve). Everyone made our stay there so good. We even got upgraded to another room when we asked for a better view. We hope to see everyone there again in the future.

Janet and Davy Bird.

We stayed here for our 20th wedding anniversary and thought it was fantastic. We had a beautiful big room overlooking the pool. The food was exceptional probably the best we've ever had on holiday. All the staff were friendly and helpful, the beach was across the road and the sea was lovely and clear. The hotel staff should be very proud of themselves they do a great job, also everywhere was so clean.

Just arrived home from a week at the Seabank Hotel where we were attending a wedding. We travelled as a couple but were in a party of 24.

The hotel is lovely. Very spacious and clean. We had a pool view room on the fourth floor and this was excellent. Although it was close to the Dome bar, you couldn't hear anything. Maid service was daily and the room was kept very clean. I found all the staff in the hotel to be more than helpful especially when we kept locking ourselves out of our room!!

There are a number of restaurants to chose from- we tried them all except for the Maltese and found these all to be nice. The food was slightly repetative in the Coral restaurant but I expect this in an all inclusive and there were other places to eat.

The hotel is literally a stones throw from the beach which is lovely although not huge.

There isn't very much near the hotel and Melieah village is about a 25 minute walk away so this is your nearest ATM, pharmacy etc

The entertainment team were great both through the day and night. There were plenty of organised activites should you choose to take part.

The wedding itself was beautiful and a perfect day!!

A lovely, relaxing 7 days! Thank you Seabank Hotel!

We were celebrating our anniversary and emailed Requesting a sea view room, as we were un able to book this in the uk ,didn't feel we would get this ,however we were given a beautiful large family room with a sea view, wonderful. The room was kept spotlessly clean and the food and service was of good quality. The specialty restaurants were good we tried the Italian and Asian and were impressed with the service and the food. I was. Not so keen on the hustle and bustle of the main restaurant in the evening which was very busy, but it's a large hotel and I am unsure how they could get round that. The pool was large with a separated adult area we never struggled getting a sunbed regardless of the time of day we went down,we booked two trips the first via the hotel to Gozo great value and of good quality, the second was to Sicily which we booked via first choice early start 5pm pickup and return midnight so a very long day, but well worth it visited various sites including mount etna, we payed extra and did a cable car trip so we could go a bit further up, well worth the money . There is a sandy beach just across the road which is great but gets very busy at the weekends and you need to pay for your beds. There are some stunning views over the sea when you sit outside in the main restaurant in the evening. Over all a great holiday.

Room Tip: We had a room on the side of the hotel which was very quiet but still had a great sea view

We went to the seabank for our honeymoon. It felt a bit isolated as you need to get a bus even to go to the ATM. I felt the reception staff could have been more helpful, my husband was sick for a good bit of our stay and nobody really helped me when I wasted to find a pharmacy that was open. If it wasn't for the help of a bus drive I would have made a journey all the way to Valletta on my own to go shopping on a public holiday when all the shops were closed, reception staff never told me this when I asked their advice. We also paid extra for a late check out but were made move rooms into a horrible little room with no tv, balcony and broken lights. Maybe my expect ions were too high and it was the fault of the tour operator for recommending this place as a honeymoon destination?

Room Tip: Get a sea view room
