We have just returned from one week holiday. Very good hotel offering everything you could need on a relaxing holiday, all resort is very clean, stylish and modern. The room was super comfortable and spacious, there is a free safe supplied and a fridge with bottles of water. Staffs are extremely friendly and efficient. The food in the restaurants is excellent
The entertainment was lead by a very enthusiastic and friendly animation team and we enjoyed the various shows performed each evening.

I recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Malta.

Thank you for such a wonderful time!

This is one of the best all inclusive hotels we have visited, The rooms were kept spotless, the was a large variety of food to choose from and a number of different resturants which were all good. You never had to go searching for a sunbed and all the staff were very friendly. Well worth giving a try.

I think every staff member in this hotel must have had a customer services degree, service is second to none
The only thing I have to comment on is the chairs outside the bar, please put rubber stops on the chairs as the scrapping is so annoying.

Room Tip: Must have a pool view, really big rooms

We are repeat visitors to Malta, love the island and people. We previously visited Seabank Hotel when it was part of the Riu chain. Wish we'd just kept our good memories. On the plus side, staff were friendly, our room was kept clean. Our first week was O.K. apart from the large family groups who insisted on staying up drinking outside the dome bar until midnight with very small tired children crying to go to bed. Why not have an "adults only" bar? The first Saturday we sat by the pool and were initially pleased when a large group of locals with children sat beside us.This changed by lunchtime when the men were so full of alcohol they were shouting and jumping in the pool regardless of who happened to be swimming past. The following week was horrendous. Local schools were on holiday so every day the place was overrun with people. We moved to the adult pool which was quieter, but we were amazed that due to the lack of security on the gates local people were coming in without paying and using the facilities. They were clever, whenever the pool security walked round, they simply put their hands under the water to hide the fact they'd no wrist bands on. Also some came with friends who'd paid, they went and got food and drink for everybody. Worst of all was Saturday night We paid a lot of money for this holiday and didn't expect to fight for food. Went at 8pm and were horrified when we looked in the dining room it was like a war zone. Far too many people allowed in we felt sorry for the waiters who were running around overwhelmed. We found two seats crammed together, but no drinking glasses left.We asked and the waiter disappeared and never came b ack. After 10 mins we left, went back 9pm Still no glasses. Saw the dining room supervisor who found us a table and 2 glasses. By this time the food counters were being wiped down and there was very little food left.Overall our holiday experience was very disappointing. Following our review by waiter on our last morning we did meet the general manager, but nothing can make up for our feeling that we were let down. Maybe this hotel is great if you don't mind noise, the dirtiest pool area of any hotel we've stayed in(never saw any sunbeds or tiles washed the whole fortnight. Uneaten food left till following morning and covered in wasps.Ughh!) The hotel is too greedy and crammed more people in than they can cope with. We may return to Malta, but this hotel should come with a warning!! Needless to say we won't be back

Room Tip: Don't go to this hotel

Dear Barry S,

Thank you for visiting Seabank for the second time and for praising the room cleanliness and friendly staff. I must also thank you for bringing certain security concerns to our attention during our chat on your day of departure. I am happy to report that as promised, these have now been fully addressed.

As mentioned in previous reviews, the amount of day visitors has been restricted further to a small fraction of our guest count and security has been added to ensure a more tranquil environment around the pool.

It is true that especially due the world cup football matches, there have been a couple of days where guests came into the restaurant altogether just before or after certain games. This has created some extra pressure at times and we are sorry to hear about your experience. It is a shame that this one time occurrence has caused you so much distress. The atmosphere in the restaurant over the past days has been very flowing with no queuing or waiting whatsoever.

The pool area is constantly being cleaned by our pool attendants, sweeped every evening and washed in sections every morning. Tiles are also deep cleaned every morning and spot cleaned throughout the day. With over 1,000 guests constantly taking food and drinks around the pool area, one can easily imagine that if we do not clean constantly and regularly, the area would be full of clutter within 1 hour.

Once again we apologise if this time round you have felt that this is no longer the right hotel for you. If you change your mind and want to give us another chance, you have my contact details which I hope you will make use of to contact me. It will be a great pleasure to have you back and I will personally ensure that we will manage to restore your confidence in our resort.

Best regards,

Always welcome.

We stayed in rooms 3220 & 3222. These are not interconnecting rooms but fine when you have a couple of teens with you. Both have beautiful sea views and are above the Coral restaurant and a busy main road. At night we had the fan or air conditioning on and so noise didn't bother us. The rooms were modern, clean and 3220 has an area with a small table and chairs. Both were very comfortable and importantly for us, only had sun first thing in the morning which meant the room was cool for the rest of the day (in temperatures reaching 30 degrees and beyond). The windows have black out curtains for the night-time.
The all-inclusive package was ideal for us as our teens could take advantage of non-stop activities around the pool (except Tuesdays), drinks, ice-cream and food. The late breakfast and lunch is a great idea as they could sleep in and eat more or less when they wanted to. We found the food excellent, especially in the Italian and Asian restaurants. All fiverestaurants are buffet style and provide a wide range of interesting starters, mains and desserts. You can help yourself to wine and soft drinks. Everyone is is issued with a wrist band when they arrive which indicates whether you are over or under 18 to ensure alcohol is not served to those underage. Good idea!
The hotel is across the road from a busy sandy beach with water sports and giant inflatables, which are not included in the price. The proximity makes it easy to get out of the hotel for a change of scenery.
The hotel was built in the last couple of years, so it is modern and well kept. It has a capacity of 1600. 1300 were there when we stayed which does make it a very busy place to be. However, the restaurants were well organised to cater for this number and there are plenty of shaded areas, sun beds and parasols. There is one large pool divided into two with an adults only area at the far end.

Room Tip: 3220 and 3222 are clean, modern, spacious and have a good view across the bay. The only get early m...

We went to the seabank in June 14 for our wedding. There were guests ranging from 1 year old to 65 years old and there was something for everyone. What an absolute gem this hotel is. Everyone out of our party who went, would definitely return to this hotel. My 1 yr old daughter has a dairy allergy and the staff could not have done any more to ensure she was fed each day (especially the lady on breakfast and dinner chef duties). They ensured she had dairy free food cooked fresh once we arrived in the restaurant. The staff are helfpul, friendly, and attentive. Nothing is too much trouble. A special mention to the cleaners too, they cleaned thoroughly each day, left clean towels and bottled water, and they even picked up all my daughters toys off the floor to make sure the floor was mopped. Not many cleaners would do this! The food is absolutely fantastic. I am a very fussy eater, yet I managed to have a good pile of food each day. Try the italian and brazilian restaurants, they were amazing. My 1 year old enjoyed the mini disco each night. No problems getting a sun bed each day no matter what time we went. I would recommend paying a little extra for a pool view, some of our guests had a land view room, they aren't a great view but the room sizes are fantastic no matter what view you choose. Bus stop straight outside the hotel will take you anywhere on the island for next to nothing. Do not hire a car in Malta, just use the buses. All in all the Seabank made our wedding day special, and we thank them gratefully for this, we all had a fantastic holiday with cherished memories. Thanks Seabank :)

Room Tip: pay extra for a pool or sea view
