The girls who served in this cafe attached to the hotel Solana were very friendly and happy to go the extra mile to make sure your dining experience was the best they could provide. We stopped in for a light lunch and were overwhelmed by the portion sizes. The Aberdeen Angus burger was at least 2cms thick and much larger than the ample sized bun. Home made chunky chips equally abundant and the taste was great. Kids meals are on the large side as well so make sure you're hungry before ordering. The delicious selection of desserts were mouth watering and for adults and kids alike they made giant cookies the size if dinner plates and only 1.25euros! Fantastic eating experience all round.

We travel to Malta frequently and often visit this cafe , part of the Solana Hotel. Often in the evenings there is some form of entertainment (special mention to Ernest the very fine singer and bass player), but of worthy mention is the coffee, the cakes and the really good service. Meals taken in the bar, although of the burger/pizza variety are nevertheless splendidly presented and great value. The Solana and Pergola hotels pride themselves on their service and Cafe Puccini typifies this. Special thanks to the waiting staff - Charlotte (who has an amazing memory for detail...), Silvia and the others - for making our visits so enjoyable.

My husband and I stayed at the nearby Maritime Antonine Hotel in February but it was rather dull for us after our evening meal. We went out for a walk and heard a keyboard player and singer in the Cafe Puccini. We went in and had a lovely, relaxed time. Staff were very helpful and we enjoyed a few hours there a couple of times.

Lovely cosy cafe at front of Solana Hotel and ideal place for mid morning coffee or a quick lunch. Staff were lovely and food was basic and good value. I have to say I dont think food is the reason you visit Malta and its pretty predictable in most places but this is definitely a safe and friendly option.
