I am by my own admission completely fussy and high maintenance - this is an AMAZING hotel and didn't disappoint from the service, food, cleaning, service, spa, variety of bars and restaurants. The prices are reasonable. Lovely little beach too - travelled in a group with 2 kids and couldnt have been more impressed. Could do with a better shop and the self catering facilities weren't great but seriously i dont like cooking on holiday anyway. We had our promotional presentation with Athena who was great.

Room Tip: Ask for a sea view and high up.

My wife and I have recently stayed here for one week in our studio apartment, and the second week in our 2 bedroom suite with our youngest daughter and husband plus 14 month old baby.
We all enjoyed the level of service right from taking our bags to the room to maintaining the cleanliness of the suite and restocking the towels & bedlinen. Genuinely courteous and friendly staff, plus superb food at prices to suit all pockets make the Radisson Blu a resort we will keep coming back to. With swimming pools and beach facilities other resorts can only dream of aspiring, plus evening entertainment ensures that if we don't want to leave the location we don't have to. However, when we do there is an in-house Shuttle-bus service for the price of a few Euros, or sometimes we take the even cheaper local buses. Taxis, mini-buses and Hire Cars are all available at the Drifter desk and are surprisingly good value.
All things considered, we wouldn't keep coming back if the Radisson Blu didn't maintain its exceedingly high standards. Thankfully, it does.

Room Tip: Rooms on the Countryside side are quieter and cooler. Which can be an advantage in the high summer.

Four of us stayed at this hotel for a week and it was wonderful. The accomodation is truly 5 star, the room facilties have everything one needs for a comfortable stay. The hotel and complex is spacious and luxurious. The five restaraunts serve delicious food and such a wide selection too. The staff always have a smile and greeting for you. We have a timeshare room and was pleased with the choice we had made, on this, our first stay there. There are four pools and one is exclusively for owners. The view from the room's balcony, sea front, is spectacular. The resort is peacful and even though there were many occupants, it never seemed busy. The pace is gentle and service is friendly and efficient. The patio is a great place to sit in comfortable couches with cushions too, and to enjoy food and drinks.

I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel, in fact it surely must be the best hotel complex in Malta.

Room Tip: Ask for a seaview room.

My partners parents have a time share here and we were lucky enough to be invited along for eight lovely days. I cannot fault this hotel in any way. We stayed on the ninth floor and the views towards the sea were amazing. Lovely in every way.

My wife and I recently had a week at the Radisson at Golden Sands. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and can't find anything to criticise about the stay.

The Hotel itself is exceptional, the quality of the place has not diminished, as we have stayed here previously, and it has all the facilities that anyone could want from the spa to the various differently priced restaurants to the bars. The place itself is also really quiet in the rooms so one can have a relaxing time without anyone else determining when one can sleep and when one can’t!

The pools are clean and the grounds well kept, the staff are very friendly and will go out of their way to help in any way they can, they also keep the place very clean and tidy around the hotel and pool area.

If you want to stay in the area there is the Apples Eye café/restaurant which does very reasonably priced drinks and food. Munchies on the beach provides well priced food and drink during the day and transforms itself into a very nice restaurant in the evening with really excellent food and I would strongly recommend eating here during your stay, watching the sun going down, while enjoying the bottle of wine and a superb dinner at Munchies is strongly recommended.

There is also a lot of buses that call opposite the Hotel so getting around the Island is an easy and inexpensive experience.

Room Tip: The sea view is idea but don't despair if you get a "country view" as you won't sp...

I have again returned from \raddison Blu Spa Hotel, just as friendly and welcoming as before. Good restaurants, spotless apartments, nothing too much trouble for them, and it is in a beautiful location. Well worth a visit.

Room Tip: Sea view is a better option, but all rooms are good

Just returned from a wonderful week at the Radisson Blu Resort, Golden Sands. Went with mixed feelings due to a mixture of reviews! However we had a wonderful week. The hotel is to a 5 star standard and provides every comfort with very friendly staff who did everything possible to ensure a nice stay. The Hotel is a little isolated but there are very good bus services right outside the hotel to the nearby resorts and also the hotel runs a good shuttle service. A most lovely setting on own beach with lovely views. We only paid £300 for the two of us due to this being a promotional trip. We had a leval of interest to purchase a timeshare but found the figures just did not add up and had service charge concerns. However although we had to attend a half day sales visit with Azure they accepted our decision without any problems not to purchase.
We enjoyed snacks at Munchies on the beach at very reasonable prices and some evening meals at Munchies beach a la carte restaurant. Pleasantly surprised to find that the hotel's own Italian restaurant served meals at reasonable prices. We received a 20% discount to eat at the hotel restaurants and we enjoyed 3 dinners at the Italian restaurant called Agliolio during our stay. If we had to find a fault it is that their portions are too large!! Again staff could not do enough to help us. We had the breakfast buffet included and this is a wonderful variety of cold cuts, cheeses, breads, fresh fruit, plus a chef preparing eggs "any way" you like them from boiled to scrambled. If again I can find fault it is that they write the calorie content against all items you order!! Makes you very aware not to eat too many chocolate croissants!
Buffet is self service style with hot drinks being served at your table. We enjoyed our breakfast al fresco each morning on the outside terrace until 11 a.m. What a way to start the day!

Our room was large , spacious and nice to have a fridge in the room. We decided not to pay to upgrade to sea view but this is probably worth doing if you plan to spend a longer time in the room. The views are stunning.

We would certainly return again which probably sums all this up.

Room Tip: It is worth paying more to have a sea view if you like to stay more in your room. You have kitchen a...
