We came to the Radisson at Golden Bay as part of a timeshare deal which we had never experienced before and were not sure what to expect. It certainly enabled us to stay in a 5 star hotel for an extremely reduced price. From the moment we landed we were picked up at the airport and taken to the hotel where we had a self catering room with part sea view which was absolutely spotless and had everything we could require including a fully stocked kitchenette although we did not use this as we ate out at the hotel various restaurants most nights. We quite liked the bathroom freebies and posh robes ! We arrived on Sunday and had our timeshare talk on Thursday so we had more than enough time to experience all the facilities at the resort. The walk was longer than expected but I think that is because we went with an open mind and were very tempted by the fantastic deal we were offered. Although we decided against becoming part of Azure (the company who run the timeshare at the Radisson) we were not treated any differently and reallhy enjoyed the remainder of our holiday. We ate in all the restaurants and our favourite was the Italian Restaurant, Agliolio which had fantastic views over the beach. The hotel is in a beautiful location with one of the best beaches on the island and it was very easy to travel across the island on the many buses that run regularly all day to late at night. We did not experience any of the spa treatments but after walking through the spa it looked like any spa I have been to in London. All in all a very enjoyable stay and if we could afford it we could definitely be back!

We are overwhelmed with this hotel, nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff, from cleaners to management, they are so helpful, just ask and its done.
The quality of this hotel is top class and food and drinks are very well priced with excellent quality and quantity, having travelled around Malta we haven't found better anywhere else and have not found service to match this either, although the Maltese poeple are very friendly and Malta is beautiful wherever on the island
There is plenty to do in and around the hotel, an elevator to the beach and every watersport you can think of including a cheap boat trip with Charlie on the Discovery to Comino and the blue lagoon, great value for money, there is nothing I would change about this hotel 100% satisfied will keep returning!

We have just returned from a very enjoyable week staying at this hotel. We have stayed at others on the Island and this is by far the best, therefore quite expensive. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. The pool lovely and the service very good. We opted for breakfast and were not disappointed at the quality or the choice.
I probably would not wish to stay at peak times as I could imagine pool area etc. could get a little crowded, it is a big hotel.
We hired a car as the hotel is a little out of way and sitting in the sun all is not our cup of tea. If it is then this is a brilliant location as the sandy beach is just down the hill. As it is popular parking was difficult on a few occasions.
Thank you to the gentleman on reception in Tower one, very helpful and the gentleman who saw us a breakfast every morning for making us smile!

Room Tip: We had a room facing the countryside. They are building a nature park at the moment, but there were...

The hotel is well presented, clean with helpful staff. We were her early on in the season, May half term holiday. We booked a self catering suite, which we didn't get when we arrived, so of course it does put a negative view from the off. We visited the Italian restaurant with our 5 & 8 yr olds so they always found something they liked. Good quality and reasonable prices in the Italian but I can't say the same for the buffet restaurant or the bars. The entertainment is quite poor, very little atmosphere in the downstairs bar, which is ridiculous as that's where they had the happy hour, there didn't seem to be many happy faces. This hotel has a great ups, access to a nice beach, with good quality sunbeds etc on the beach. I had read on other reviews that this hotel was good if you were old and rich and I can understand why that has been said. €3 for a sprite is a little over priced. Would I go back, umm, no as I think they're may be other hotels that are more suitable for families with small children.

Room Tip: The middle block is best for easy access to all areas
