I stayed here with my partner and 2 children for a week. The photos are accurate but what I didn't realise was how old fashioned everything was. All the fixtures and fitting are clearly reclaimed and at least 30 years old. Admittedly it all works but it's just nothing matches, the cooker is rusty, the bed sheets only just fit, the pillows are old (I don't know where you would get pillows with a universe print all over them either?) However, there were plenty pillows and blankets should you need them and it was clean. There's a lot of steps at the back, so not suitable for young children in my view. The shower flooded the bathroom every time even though we were really careful. Maybe the shower tray/curtain combo was to blame? The TV only has Maltese and Italian stations. There's no extractor fan under the hood over the cooker. The bedroom and bathroom windows open onto an internal shaft, so no view of anything except a disused toilet. You can't really walk into town. We drove to the supermarket at the top of the estate, and to get to the restaurants you carry on driving down the hill into the town. Nevertheless the apartment was cheap for high season so if you plan to stay out from morning to night you might not mind. Joseph seems to be at the apartment most days.
