This is a beautiful little bay in the south west of Gozo. It is surrounded by high limestone cliffs with interesting caves on one side, and hotels and restaurants on the other. The narrow entrance to the bay moderates the waves so it is usually safe for swimming. I say 'usually' because when it is choppy outside the bay, sea jellies (or jellyfish) sometimes come into the bay and some varieties will give you a nasty sting. The only other significant downside is the floating rubbish, which sometimes gets washed up onto the small sandy beach.
