A very nice small Hotel, but in a beautiful location in Gozo. The staff was wonderful and the hotel very clean. Not too expensive (average priced) for this type of Hotel. The breakfast was wonderful, but dinner was not that inviting, considering the fact that it is surrounded with lots of restaurants that offer some of the best food on the island. Perfect for a weekend break or for a quite week during the winter or Spring/Autumn months. Summer months is very busy and the sea is right in-front of the hotel. Just seconds away. Ideal for those people who love the Summer buzz.

Room Tip: Both sea view and country views are perfect

Very happy with this hotel. We had an interior room and there was a window out into a courtyard which was very pleasant and made the room airy. The outdoor seating area and restaurant are beautiful and like something from a very exclusive resort the views are spectacular. The service was excellent in the breakfast room and there was a wide variety to choose from. The only fault we had with this hotel was on our departure when we asked the receptionist to call a local taxi she refused saying she could open the line from our room. We would have had no issue in paying for the call as the number we had was for a local man and we wanted to ensure there was no language barrier. The big fella thinks this small act of scrimping almost ruined what could have been a perfect stay and suggests the management review this policy, otherwise faultless.

We are currently staying in a club room at the St Patricks Hotel. Yes, it can do with an update, new furniture, new deck chairs etc, etc but that's its charm, i forgive them for any short comings and looked at the bigger picture. The Hotel is run well, the staff are friendly and from the time we checked in everyone has been helpful and dealt with any request we asked for. We needed a new fridge in the minibar and it was done, we needed 4 towels in the bathroom at all times and it was done, we asked for our balcony to be swept and it was done. The location could not be better. At the back of the hotel You step out to all the restaurants, the choice is yours, the view from our open verandah is glorious when the sun shines. Breakfast is satisfactory and dinner was very pleasant and Paul who looked after us worked hard to make sure we were happy and content. There are different places to eat and would recommend trying a different restaurant every night. I have read on certain reviews as to the unpleasant disposition of the reception staff, all I can say about this is I have not noticed anything that suggest this, Grace who greeted us at the time of check in was charming, helpful and polite, sweet lady. We are only staying here for four nights in Xlendi but would recommend this hotel to guest who are here to holiday and want a pleasant atmosphere, comfortable hotel and great location. Being a very well travelled person who enjoys high status with several hotel chains I was looking for rustic charms and found that the hotel did not disappoint.
I would recommend this hotel and would stay again if and when I returned. For Sleepy Gozo the hotel is very good and is worth four Gozo stars.
Many thanks for a pleasant stay.

St.Patrick's was my late father's favourite hotel in Gozo and remains ours. It has unbeatable views of Xlendi Bay and it is really lovely to sleep to the sound of the waves and wake to the sight of them. A quiet hotel that is more relaxed in the off-season than in peak summer, we love its location and its value for money. On our recent visit, my mom's room had a mosquito netted door so she could sleep with her balcony door open for the fresh air and sound of the sea. Ours did not. Similarly, her room was clean by 3:30, ours was not, so it didn't get done as we wanted a siesta. However, the staff left us fresh towels. We booked one night, decided to stay for three. Love St.Pat's. A little run down and in need of refurbishing, but given the location, price and staff friendliness, who can complain?

Room Tip: Sea view or valley view - depends on how warm you want your room to be in the pm. For cool, get vall...

Lovely view from the sea view rooms, good price but in need of a refurbishment. Breakfast so and so. Bedrooms, tiling, lift, courtyard, bathrooms, furniture and anything else in this hotel needs to be replaced. Waiters, head waiter, receptionists etc try to make wonders, but the owners need to reinvest in this Hotel. This makes this hotel a 2 star and not a 4 star.

Room Tip: Have a sea view as this is the only good thing about this hotel.

I spent a week in St Patricks in March 2014,this meant the roof terrace wasn't used so I had it to my self, with sun loungers, table and chairs, toilets up there this was great. I had booked a inside room that was a bit on the dark side even during the day, but you get what you pay for and it was value for money. The terrace has the great view, and the staff in reception are very friendly and helpful. The bar, man and male waiter are very good, I had a meal one evening that was a set meal of 22.50 I ordered half a gill of table white wine that came up at a whopping 9 euros. The food was nice but not outstanding. Breakfast was at a good time 7.30am-10.00although I had a day planed one morning and not all the breakfast was out at 7.45, so I asked the head lady in a waste coat for a yogurt and she was snappy! The room has a card you can use to ask for your sheets changing, room cleaning, towels changed, complimentary items every day in the bathroom so that was all positive. The Toilet didn't flush well, the water was brown for the first three days but very hot, I just bought bottled water for drinking. but the room was very big and comfortable and clean, air conditioning, and roof fan, so don't be put off it was an overall pleasant stay .
