Owner description: The Coral Flyer is the longest Island to Island Zipline in the World and the longets zipline in Borneo. It is built to reflect its prominent location using the high-tech ZipStop braking system from the USA. It has two lines allowing riders to go down in pairs and reaches speeds of up to 65kmh! This is the tourist attraction of the decade in Borneo.

“Fun, but quickly over!”
Reviewed 29 July 2014

First you have to get to Sapi Island. We took a boat via our hotel which was Rm65/person. When you get to Sapi, you sign waivers and pay for your zip line trip which is Rm50/person.

The company then takes you over to Gaya Island, a short hop by boat, where they get you strapped into your harness and give you a helmet. Take a short uphill walk up to the launch platform. The staff there will strap you to the zip line, give you some instructions, and when the ok comes...off you go! It was a fun little ride, but over way too fast. I think the one at the Great Wall in China is longer.

If you are going to do the zip line, best make an afternoon of it since you've paid for your boat ride to the island! Wear your swim suit, towel, sunscreen, and bring your snorkel gear. It is busier at Sapi island because it is small.
