Nice to be remembered by staff from my our previous visit, and although they were busy, the lady who served us made time to help us choose the right wine for our tapas, and remembered me fromour last booking - wish my local was this friendly - it was good to try the Sunday night tapas, which we missed last time due to travelling home, but it was something really different - relaxed service from happy staff, and really good food - if i had to be fair, the tapas menu sounds really simple but the dishes were much better than the description suggested. We are glad we have found this place, as it is now a firm favourite for when we visit our Loddon family. Look forward to coming back on our next trip.

Everything was so good Allyson thank you.
First time we have eaten at the Swan but it won't be the last, we were greeted by very friendly bar staff and had drinks in the bar before taking our table in the upstairs dining room which was amazing, we loved the decor and ambience and our table by the window was spot on.
Sat in comfortable furnishings whilst we looked at menu and ordered our food. The food was excellent, well presented, well cooked and well proportioned. We were attended to by Lindsay who was lovely, up and down the stairs all night and always with a smile.
Finished off an excellent night out with brandies, we thoroughly recommend the Swan, thanks again

I expect staff to greet customers. We stood there and were ignored, despite the fact that the barman was not dealing with another customer. Uninspired menu, pricey.

Both of our male bar staff are concerned to hear that they may have inadvertently caused offence by accidentally over looking you, and offer their apologies - as for our uninspiring pricey menu, I suppose Norfolk does have a grand selection of cheaper fast food outlets for you to choose from...
As for the rest of you, who, like ourselves, are passionate about seasonal, fresh, local produce, and extracting the best, delicious flavours from the breeds and ingredients for which Norfolk is famous, I will just refer you to the latest edition of The EDP Norfolk Magazine (Sept issue) where David Adlard's review of his recent evening visit for mystery dining is featured...and I will leave you all to make your own minds up...
As a footnote, the whole team were delighted to read that our care for our produce, our guests, and their surroundings were noted and enjoyed by an unbiased industry professional.

Stopped off for a drink and thought the menu looked so good we booked a table for dinner. We were not disappointed. The staff were friendly and incredibly helpful, the food was freshly cooked and quite frankly delicious! Would definitely visit again if we were in the area. Can't think of anything that they needed to improve on :)

I always feel a bit sorry for the venue when our holiday group descends, consisting of 4 adults and 3 children. The Swan welcomed us with open arms - we were not hidden away, excellent menus for all the family available, steak night was really enjoyable and the food well-cooked, and puddings delicious. Staff friendly and served drinks in record time! Really would recommend this pub, and thanks for making us feel welcome!
