“Tasteful, comfortable and peaceful two storey accomodation.”
Reviewed 21 September 2017 for a stay in September 2017

The Nook, a part of a charming Norfolk farmhouse with its own entrance and pretty garden area, comprising a well equipped kitchen, and restful upper floor with bedroom and shower room. A good location in Norfolk near to the Suffolk boarder.
Emma the owner was prepared to go the extra mile as a hostess. Always eager to help.

We had a fantastic week's stay in this property. It is situated at the end of a dead end road about 2 miles from a main road. We absolutely loved being miles from anywhere and had such a peaceful and relaxing break. The property has no lounge but has a lovely , functional farmhouse kitchen and a large bedroom with easy chairs and wall mounted tv. Emma and Dan provide the ingredients for breakfast and there is lots of equipment to cook it yourself. In fact it was such a lovely setting that we only ventured out once in the evening to eat. I cannot emphasise enough what a fantastic place this is for a break away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We will be back as we didn't see everything we wanted to see. Fabulous coastal resorts both north and east and a wonderful visit to Somerleyton Hall. Norwich is very interesting city and there are several pleasant market towns around the area. Enjoy!

“Luxurious peaceful retreat”
Reviewed 9 June 2016 for a stay in June 2016

Spent a lovely relaxing few days at The Nook with my husband. The accommodation is superb and every detail has been thoughtfully planned from fresh eggs, bread, milk, homemade jam & marmalade to shampoo, shower gel, hair dryer etc.
Emma and Dan are great hosts and nothing is too much trouble.
Beautiful accommodation in beautiful surroundings.
Will definitely return.

“A lovely cottage”
Reviewed 10 August 2014 for a stay in July 2014

We stayed recently for a short mid week break. A lovely cottage, nicely decorated and everything provided for. The breakfast hamper was stocked full of local and tasty foods, as was the fridge. We felt very spoilt! Very peaceful and a visit every morning from a friendly cat.

“Wonderful weekend at the Nook”

Just returned from a wonderful weekend at the Nook. Was very peaceful and relaxing, and the owner had thought of everything to make our stay very accommodating. You get a yummy breakfast hamper so we had a cooked breakfast both mornings we were there, and most toiletries are supplied for you so you can travel light if you want.
I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

“Nice secluded place to stay.”
Reviewed 7 November 2013 for a stay in October 2013

The Nook is a great place to stay to explore the local area. It is not to far from the Loddon and Norwich and only about 40min from Lowestoft.
The owners are very pleasant and made us very welcome. Local ingredients (which tasted fantastic) were provided for breakfast (sausage, eggs, bread, butter, bacon, milk, cereal, juice and even beer) and we were offered a vegie option instead.

The rooms are large, spacious and tidy. We had everything you would expect (iron & board, towels, toiletries and even an extra heater)
