We had a wonderful stay at the Fairmont. They provided us with a crib for our little one and even had a little kit of shampoo, lotion, toothbrush, etc.

The staff is very friendly and enjoyed the cabanas beside the pool and beach. For a fee, you get the cabana with snacks and water!

The breakfast buffet had the typical goods and even had a variety of scrambled eggs and pancakes! Fruit was fresh and delicious. Our little one enjoyed it very much!

We also got massages by the waterfall. Judith did a wonderful job on our massage and had us relaxing in no time!

Overall, we enjoyed our stay even though it was a bit pricey. It was definitely money well spent! Splurge a little when you're on vacation!

We are a family of 4 (2 boys) and had a lovely time at the Fairmont. The grounds are beautiful. the rooms are spacious (for a hotel) and the bathroom was quite roomy. We had an "ocean view room" which means sit on your lanai and cock your head left and you will see the ocean. the view of the golf course with that bit of water was lovely, though. we loved the lagoon and snorkeling we had a hard time dragging ourselves away. the breakfast buffet was quite good and we often went to the lounge for drinks and some appetizers to watch the sunset - wish there was more of a variety. Had dinner at Brown's - it was very good but VERY pricey. I had an oceanside massage which was just sublime. Service however, was a bit lacking for this type of resort. They could up their game a bit and spruce up some of the furniture, moldings etc and thet would up this to a 5 star rating.Overall, we had a nice time.

I accompanied my partner on a business trip but it was beautiful, family and couples friendly with 2 golf courses and a spa. The snorkeling was awesome and I would definitely like to stay here again. Food was lovely. Highly recommend xxx

I'm not really a resort sort of traveler but with the Fairmont Orchid I can make an exception.

Service was always top notch- be sure to take advantage of all of the included resort activities especially those for kids.

If you are staying at the Fairmont you are probably prepared for the price tag. That said, breakfast for four rang in at almost $100. A little bit of sticker shock.

There is a small mini-super a short walk or free shuttle away for breakfast and lunch options. This is one place where a rental car might actually save you money as you can get off the resort for more dining options and more reasonable prices and perhaps find a more authentic Hawaii experience.

Most resorts are either too stuffy, or never achieve the luxury they pretend to. This one gets it just right. Big rooms, beautiful grounds, good restaurants, great unobtrusive service. Fantastic natural lagoon, with sea turtles, and lots of fish. Everything very clean. I stayed for six days as part of an incentive award.

Only negative might be the high prices at the restaurants, and especially for room service. Having said that, the food was always good, and served on time

Room Tip: North Tower rooms facing north overlook the golf course and ocean beyond. Very nice
