We have stayed here many times...WHY you may ask! Simple...the bedrooms and bathrooms are of reasonable size, modern and maintained immaculately, parking is plentiful, the location is convenient for Hull and the East Riding, the Staff are incredibly helpful, happy and obliging and the price (Especially if you book sufficiently in advance) represents great value for money. All bedrooms are ground floor. Bedrooms do not have aircon and, albeit windows open slightly, rooms can get hot during the Summer (Take an electric fan!)
Comments by other Reviewers regarding food are fairly accurate from our past experience albeit nowadays we normally 'Eat out' and so have no recent dining experience. A large Cooperative supermarket is within easy walking distance. All bedrooms have tea/coffee making equipment.
At the opposite end to accommodation in the hotel there is a 'Whacky Warehouse' dedicated children's play area (£3.75 entry charge) which our younger grandchildren enjoy. For families there are plenty of tables with seating outside.

Room Tip: Rear of hotel overlooking garden

came on tues evening with family for a meal , when my childs meal arrived I had to make a complaint burger smiley faces and carrots. The carrots were bendy cold and a strange colour, the staff member I complained to offered to change the carrots ,so we had more smiley faces . When my daughter started to eat her meal the whole thing was inedible over cooked smiley faces dry burger and bun so complained again and got a refund. Just because its a childrens meal doesn't mean it should be bad quality I would not recommend eating here !!

Stayed here for a week or so while visiting nearby.
Friendly staff who always appear willing to help, assist, etc. Food is a bit hit and miss...most of the time is was good but when it's buy one get one free deals you sort of know it's coming out the freezer so don't expect fine dining.
Bar was usually busy, rooms kept nice and clean with a quick turnaround on the laundry service too. Plenty of parking and Hedon village only a short walk along the road if you feel inclined to explore.
Would definitely stay here again.

Stayed one night here. The room was comfortable and clean. The bar was friendly, very big and very busy. It seems to be a popular place for food although I wouldn't rate the food very highly. I didn't enjoy the cooked breakfast although the sausage was very tasty. - but I'm very fussy about my breakfast! The location is good and the staff very friendly. For the price it was very good value.

I havent stayed here before but I have been over for lunch. The place is ok if you are not expecting fine dining. It the usual chain thing! I suspect the majority of the food is fried or microwaved! The one thing I have heard was that the mixed grill is decent and good value for money. I can recoommend the chicken and bacon salad which is very nice and of a reasonable portion size. If you have kids there is a childrens play area. There is a function room out the back which is nice. The pub itself is quite dark and dingey in some areas and could do with upgrading. The staff are ok. But nothing about this place stands out from the crowd. If i didnt return I wouldnt be that disappointed.
