I think one of the best beaches on the island.

Theres a good restaurant for breakfast and lunch, too.
Thanks to this restaurant you can use WiFi on the beach :-)

Its very nice and really clean. The water is fine, too!
A good place to meet up with friends.

This is a picturesque beach good for sunbathing. Water level is not very deep and hence not a swimming beach. Was over crowded on a day the sun was out.

There is not much to do on this beach. In the center of Silver Beach there are kayaks for hire. You can rent them by the hour and do a little adventure tour around the rocks at the end of the beach. You will also find snorkeling equipment here, although it is not very good for snorkeling underwater. Although the water is clear, there are hardly any fish and corals. On this beach with its fine sand, relaxation is the order of the day. Because of the shallow water the Silver Beach is particularly suitable for families with small children and non-swimmers. The lively beaches of Lamai and Chaweng in close proximity are busy, if you are looking for a quiet beach, a trip to the nearby Laem Nan Beach is worthwhile.

We travelled here from Maenam for the day and it was well worth the visit. The South part by the Black Pearl restaurant has some rocks which gives some reasonable snorkelling. The sea is very clear.

Fantastic clean beach and clear water.

Recommend car and bike parking out on the main road as the vehicle parking by the beach itself can be chock-a-block.

Suggest you bring a beach towel and a shade of some sort as the sun can get very intense during midday. Very reasonable massage prices form the hotels.
