We stayed at Lazy Days in one of the garden bungalows from 14-17 Feb. Absolutely fabulous spot right on the beach in Lamai. Beautiful and spotlessly clean bungalow rooms.. very confortable AC and extremely well maintained by the staff. The resort is small and adds a charming aspect to the setting. The restaurant is open air and right on the beach.

Staff are extremely warm, welcoming and very friendly. We were able to rent a scooter through the reception with no issues at all. Staff made it so easy ...even arranging the scooter to be dropped off and picked up. He even assisted me get started with a quick tutorial and helped me inspect the scooter for any preexisting damage.
We booked a snorkelling tour through the hotel too and staff were most helpful in this regard. Excellent rating for the overall client service, hospitality, friendliness and quality of resort cleanliness and maintainance by the staff. The manager does an amazing job. Kudos for a well run resort.

The pool is small but immaculately maintained. Every bungalow has a small patio/balcony which was great to enjoy a few drinks every night with the cool ocean breeze blowing throuhg and the sound of crashing waves.

Slightly away from the heart of Lamai....but plenty of options to dine and snack nearby...with a few stores and convenience stores (7-11, Family mart) within a few mins walking distance. The breakfast, which was included was good...nothing special but had the regular fixings of eggs (done your way), ham, bacon, beans, local asian option (fried rice), toast, cereal, yogurt and fresh fruit. Always served warm and again....staff was always ready to oblige any request. The beach right in front of thr resort was decent.....sandy with a few rocks. For our beach days we started at Lamai or Chewang beach and ended at the resort. As it is a smaller place....there are plenty of sun chairs for everyone.

My wife and I truly enjoyed our stay here. We stayed for 3 nights as we were moving to Chewang....and wished we had planned to stay longer. Would definately choose this resort again...and very highly recommended.

Stayed here for 3 nights in February. Lovely rooms with minimal decor but modern. The bungalow is very clean and staff are vet nice and accommodating. The hotel is on a small beach close to the grandpa and grandma rocks, lamai beach is around 30 mins walk to the hotel. The breakfast is simple but very good.
It's 30 mins walk to the city,
But you can rent scooter from the hotel for 250 baht a day.
Will definitely come back !

This is a nice resort priced very well. The staff here are excellent and very friendly. The accommodation is basic but well kept. The Bed was a major complaint. Way too hard, it was like sleeping on the floor, definitely recommend changing this, probably the worst bed I have slept on. Our room was called Pool Room but wasnt really. I think there were 4 of these but only 2 are poolside, the 3rd comes close and the 4th (ours) wasnt facing the pool at all. Check that if thats what you really want. The room was clean although there was some serious stains on the roof that should've been cleaned but probably wasnt because they were out of reach.
Breakfast is basic but adequate. If you have big expectations for full buffet breakfast you will be disappointed.
This place is out of the way but not remote. Its a short taxi ride into Lamai (on reflection I would say in Lamai Beach next time.
You can easily work to Grandma and Grandpa rocks either by beach or by road. Go by road and you work past a couple of small bars. We liked Rocky Bar. Great people and they make the best (strongest) Long Island Tea around.
All in all Lazy days is good and wont break the budget.

Room Tip: Beach facing rooms look like the pic but if you choose Pool because you want Pool make sure you get...

After searching extensively for good value accommodation on Koh Samui we came across Lazy Day's on Agoda.com. There was not much information and just a couple of reviews. We decided to take a punt and we definitely made the right choice.

In a nutshell...

-The rooms are modern, stylish and well maintained
-There is a small boutique vibe to the hotel
-The rooms are cleaned to a high standard everyday
-The hotel looks out onto the beach which is nicer than made out in other reviews
-The area is quiet and relaxing
-If you need a a lively drink, there is Eden Bar at the end of the beach (listen for the bass)
-There is a nice restaurant up the beach (100m left)
-Good breakfast, nice poached eggs!
-Very fast WiFi
-Pool looks nice but we never used it
-Staff are lovely, very welcoming and helpful
-Lamai beach is not far, we walked there in 30min.

Only thing I would say is the beach bungalows are not worth the extra, our garden bungalow was perfect.

Would definitely stay again.

Loved it. A very casual place. The bungalows were fabulous. I had a garden bungalow just behind the pool area and my friend had a beach bungalow. Both great. Minimalist decor was lovely. The individual patios and outside towel rails were a neat idea as well as the golf umbrella (which we did use). Staff so friendly and the breakfast buffet good with a lovely outlook. The pool area was gorgeous to come back to and have a cold drink beside each night, after a day of sightseeing .
We were sorry to leave. Would recommend.

Room Tip: A garden room not far from the pool area and the end beach bungalow next to the boundary fence.

Best stay in Thailand. The bungalow was huge and the bed the comfiest I have ever tried. They let us check in @ 7 am and staff was extremely friendly, kept checking on my while I was sick after food poisoning (from another place). Little resort, clean, good to go an relax for a few days. Only fault there is not much around, but we rented a couple of mopeds from a place down the road and got around really easily.

The bungalows at Lazy Days are a nice size and very nice looking, with a small balcony. The resort is just south of Lamai and Grandfather, Gandmother rocks. The beach is so so and not as nice as Lamai but it is a lot quieter.
The buffet style breakfast is ok and includes both western and oriental style, with eggs cooked to order.
Food mains are ok but there is a very nice restaurant just down the beach called sabeinglae, which does very good thai food.
The staff are very friendly and I would stay here again.
