we booked a grand ocean view (on agoda, propably the reason why our room was a "liitle" ocean view instead of a grand ocean view). room number was 1402 which is located in the lower lever of the 4 room buildings. that room had no view and a very noisy aircon.
after one night we were allowed to change into 1903. now we realised how important the second floor of the buildings are. MUCH nicer room (high ceiling), good view, all well.
as we stayed only 3 nights we were fine after the change of room.
overall upmarket hotel, but not to compare with a boutique hotel. more a mass hotel.
very bothering is the waiting for the cars drinving you up and down the hill. waited up to 30 minutes. really dont know why they dont put more cars / driver in action.
breakfast very good, staff performance acceptable except while checking out when my bill was xxxx,01 THB and I had to pay 1 THB for the xxxx,01 THB. wondering.....

Room Tip: ask for upper floor in the buildings.

Dear Prince T

Many Thanks for sharing your feedback – we appreciate the opportunity to hear from all our guests and use the feedback to continue our journey to create hotel that guests love. I apologise for the disappointment you felt in your initial room allocation . This room is actually part of the front line of the Grand Ocean vrooms in the resort and has clear views over the Andaman. However we do appreciate that different rooms have different perspectives. Being perched on the hillside does have the advantage of so many of the rooms having a wonderful view. This also explain the need for our tuk tuks to transport people around the resort and further to recent feedback we have increased the number of vehicles and the size of the team to accommodate the increasing number of requests. Thanks for highlighting this, it has added to our realization this was the right thing to do.

In regard to the billing at check out –I am not clear on this issue you have highlighted – I would be most grateful if you could contact me directly on brett.wilson@accor.com and advise your full details so I can investigate and get back to you.

Thanks for the description also as an upmarket hotel. The Overall size of the resort is 20 acres and with 277 we are definitely not boutique. As such we are able to offer a variety of locations to chill out and of course enjoy the facilities. Solitude for the masses!

We would be delighted to see you back at our beach house and I would only be too happy to help you design your next Pullman journey

Check In Chill out

We fell across the Pullman Phuket Arcadia in a magazine article. With a great review and a few spare days before our departure we decided to book as it was located not too far from the airport. We count our selves blessed for reading this article as this was one of the best hotel stays we have ever had world wide. Located in a laid back beach setting with great views the service offered by the hotel was top class. From the incredible breakfast buffet, to the complimentary buggy service as well as the several chill out areas this was a perfect relaxing end to our honeymoon.

Room Tip: The deluxe ocean view room was spacious and luxurious.

Where to begin. firstly the location and Naithon Beach are superb, great views and a very quiet beach compared with others in Phuket. The super Pullman brand offers so much more than regular resorts. This is a high class resort, it has a range of superb food outlets with high quality food and well trained staff in all the restaurants we tried . There is a wonderful emphasis on families with great kid facilities and activities. We really enjoyed the C bar , yummy lychee mojitos and the panoramic views of the ocean and beach.
Initially we stayed in a Deluxe Ocean room, it was light, airy, well appointed and was high up the hill with ocean views through the trees. It was very good value for money and had a divine comfy bed. As a treat, we decided to upgrade to a Pool Villa, I must say they are the best we have experienced. so spacious like a beach house, again light and airy, generous with storage and bathroom areas as well as a lovely long pool with excellent cliff top views to the ocean and rocks below. We really did not want to leave the villa. But, there are several swimming pools on the property, the main one is huge with great views , and a nearby bar! You will get a bot of exercise walking up and down the hill, tho golf buggies are pretty regularly available to collect you from your room.
The beach is well shaded until lunchtime and there are various touristy Thai restaurants with cheap food and beer along the beach. It was good that there are no souvenir sellers or touts on the beach. We had actually avoided visiting Phuket because we hate the Bali Kuta thing with bars and drunks and crowds. Pullman Arcadia Naithon is a quiet gem in an isolated location close to the airport. It is so restful. oh forgot the Spa, it has a couples room and we loved getting pampered and pummelled. Enjoy.

Room Tip: all the rooms are lovely, if you can, splurge on a pool villa, they are superb

Dear Coffeeglutton

Wow! Many thanks for the sharing of your time with us. We strive to create a hotel that guests love and it has made my day to see we have succeeded in your case. Our location away from the main tourist areas of the island certainly does make for a perfect lifestyle break that cocoons you away for the madness of everyday life. Our team will be delighted to hear that they made a great impact on your stay and from the Spa to the culinary team they all look forward to your return.

It would be great to hear from you directly on your next planned visit so I can help make any arrangements you need. Please let me know on my email brett.wilson@accor.com.

Looking forward to helping you design your next journey – I’ll have a mojitos ready at sunset for you to enjoy once more.

Check In. Chill Out.

A travel agent recommended the Pullman Phuket when my partner and I said we were looking for a hotel that was close to both a nice unpopulated beach and the golf courses in the north of the island. We were very grateful for the recommendation as we wouldn't have found the hotel without their help. Aware that the hotel was in its soft launch phase, we went with expectations curbed, but any uncertainties were quickly put to rest. Yes, when we were there for 4 nights in early November, there were signs of work still being done on the property, amongst other minor rough edges, but these never detracted from our experience. The individuals who were working on the hotel were unobtrusive, and great efforts were made to make up for any detracting points. The staff embodied among the best of Thai hospitality; they were polite and quick to respond. We had a minor clogged drain in the shower that was fixed within 30 minutes. Our room was spacious and thoughtfully (and tastefully) designed - and came with a host of amenities that were very useful (from the beach bag to the umbrellas). It is true that because the hotel site is on a hill, getting around the property can be challenging for those who are physically less inclined or who have mobility problems, but the hotel provides a free buggy service. Never did we ever have to wait more than 5 minutes for one. The spa is among one of the best that I have ever tried. The breakfast buffet is substantial and varied, and of a high standard, with something for everyone. We tried both restaurants, and my partner who is Italian, was very impressed with the standards of Vero, the on-site Italian restaurant. He tried the roast rabbit and ossobucco on two occasions, and said that he would never have expected to find a 'very close to authentic' Italian restaurant in Phuket. The location was perfect for us. We didn't want any shopping or crowds or nightclubs, and Nai Thon was perfect for just relaxing and chilling out...Considering that this hotel is in its opening phase, it's still much better than many other fully operational ones. Hope that it will continue to improve, and would love to revisit again when it's 100% functional.
