“Good for a night stay!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 March 2014

Stayed one night. Service was good, friendly staff. Rooms small, but with all basics. Not very good soundproofing though! I would recommend stay here if you are looking for cheap accommodation for a night or two.

I stayed here for 4 nights in January 2014. This guesthouse was absolutely lovely. I stayed in a balcony room on the top floor.

Pros: This place is absolutely beautiful, and it had one of the best bathrooms I've seen at this price point with toiletries provided. It also had a mini-fridge. The room was beautiful with a giant bed that had hangings. I had to climb over the bed to get to the balcony, but I didn't mind. The location is great -- an easy walk to the markets, several shrines, bakeries, a used bookstore, coffee shops, etc. I also walked from here to the night market and the hilly viewpoint. The staff members were absolutely lovely. Free breakfast = toast, bananas, and instant coffee; enough to get you started.

Downsides: Floor is extremely slippery, especially on the stairs (don't wear socks!) and there was no furniture on the balcony. Also, as other guests mentions, the walls in some rooms are open at the top with only colored glass panels separating them. I could hear my neighbors at night. It didn't bother me too much, but if you're a light sleeper, it might bother you.

I would definitely stay here again!

I love the interior so much, tiny but beautiful and got everything I want.
Friendly, helpful owner- Mr owner helped me with a map and suggested a good place for lunch.
The place located on heart of old town, Sunday walking street is right here on this road. Easy to go walk around if you like architecture and also very close to main markets for buses to beaches.
Only down point is wooden floor that guests here have no idea how to walk on. I'm on the 2nd floor and the people above me keep jumping, stomping their feets.

This is my first time staying at this hotel. We arrived at the late night but the staff greeting us with warm welcome. This hotel is well-organized compact room size with classic-modern style. The location is also great where located in the center of the city you can find food easily with the few step away from the hotel. Especially, the staff is nice. If you visiting Phuket for the first time, they can suggest either Phuket attractions spot or arrange one-day trip to other place outside Phuket.

Stopped one night on way to Phi Phi. Worth a few nights longer. Location in old sino-portugese area of Phuket. Good local restaurants close by, and some small bars. Clean and simple rooms which are decorated in style. We had top floor room. Good air con, shower, clean, quiet and very comfy bed. Owners friendly, and will arrange onward boat travel and transport to ferry in a matter of minutes for good price, so don't bother prebooking. Always loads of room on ferries.

Room Tip: any of the rooms good.

We booked a room for one night in this guesthouse before leaving for Khao Sok since it was in the center of phuket town and near the restaurants.

The service was very good and they were very helpful finding us way to go around the town. Moreover, the room was very nice and very clean. also, they asked for a 500 Bahts deposit during our stay which was not mentionned (but didn't cause any problems for us).

But here are the major problems:

The rooms are separated by very thin walls combining windows at the top, so we can hear everything on the other side... EVERYTHING!

I could hear the person breathing while we were sleeping.

Also, no net around the bed so three mosquitos woke us up in the room during the night. And the street was very noisy since you sleep near the windows (which is not sound proof, I had the impression that there was actually no window...).

Overall was OK, the price and location very good. I wouldn't go there for more than one night.

Well ubicated, well decorated, clean, not expensive and very nice and helpful staff! It is true that rooms are not very spacious but not important considering everything else. Definitely a good choice! Moreover they advised us well for any question about transport or restaurant
