Had the best time here! Their sheep show is wonderful and entertaining with each sheep having its own unique personality. Lots to learn and some wonderful surprises along the way. Their farm tour is also worthwhile, take in beautiful landscapes and get up close to feed sheep, lambs, alpacas, see impressive beef cattle and deer and had my first ever taste of kiwi fruit wine. You get to pick your own fruit and eat straight of the tree too. Delightful. A well spent 2-3 hours. Kids will be especially thrilled.

Being a kiwi I wasn't too sure about the show, however, I was blown away and absolutely loved it - would recommend to all! Farm tour was great, fantastic for international visitors!

I went in July and it's winter in NZ, it's a bit cold and rainy some days. The tour was at outdoor so summer time might be better. During the tour, the guide told us about the habit of different kinds of animals. We got to feed the Al paca and sheeps (if they don't run away from you), hand-pick kiwifruit, taste the kiwifruit wine and juice, also the manuka honey. It's an amazing experience.

We are so pleased you enjoyed your time at the Agrodome and Thank you very much for taking the time to post a positive review.
It is winter in New Zealand at the moment so you are right, it can be a little cold during the farm tour. Our farm show is all inside and undercover while the farm tour tractors do have drop down sides which can help to keep you warm while you explore the farm.
Thank you again for your visit and review!

Loved the show and the petting area. Kids particularly enjoyed being able to go in with the lambs. Very entertaining way to spend a rainy morning in Rotorua.

As part of an organised shore excursion from a ship berthed in Auckland we went to Rotorua for the day and a visit to the Agrodome was included. We arrived in time for the sheep show and we're not disappointed - the host was excellent and all the different sheep were fabulous - they were definitely the stars of the show especially the Merino. Even better when you get chance to get up close and personal with them after the show. Not forgetting the sheep dogs. Highly recommended.
