“A must-do!”
Reviewed 13 August 2014

Loved the farm show (fed a baby lamb), learned a lot, and had an enjoyable happy time! Got to see all the different sheep up close and learn about the different breeds. The farm tour was amazing...saw animals in their paddocks, kiwi fruit on the vine, tasted kiwi wine and manuka blend honey. Gift show reasonably priced and good diversity of products. Kind and courteous staff throughout!!!

Thank you so much for your review. We appreciate the time it takes to post your thoughts and our staff will enjoy hearing that you appreciated what we have to offer here!
It is great to hear that you took part in the show - feeding the lambs is great (love those waggling tails) and to get up close with the animals on the farm tour is one of my favorite parts about the Agrodome.
Wishing you safe travels!

“Suprisingly enjoyable”

Ok so I was a bit skeptical at first, but that was freaking awesome! I milked a cow! And touched a bunch of sheep and lambs and fed an alpaca! Very fun :)

It is awesome to hear we were a surprise - in a good way!
The show and farm tour are such great opportunities to learn in a hands-on way about NZ's agricultural history.
We hope you take some of your new-found farming enthusiasm home with you and that you can return one day soon!

“Totally worth it”
Reviewed 9 August 2014 via mobile

My partner and I took my 10 year old daughter and her friend for her birthday. Karl the show presenter was the perfect showman. Excellent audience involvement and great with the kids. Value for money 10 out of 10. Must see.

“A Kiwi classic”
Reviewed 6 August 2014

I took my kids (4 and 6) and they loved the Farm Show. Really well done, professional but with that laid-back Kiwi humour. Little kids will love the nursery (entrance from main auditiorium) and look out for other animals outside (we grass fed some Shetland ponies near carpark).

Laid-back kiwi humour - that is what we are all about!
Thanks very much for your review, we are proud of our show and the opportunity it gives us to educate visitors about NZ's agricultural history.
Great too that the Pony's got a mention - they are usually just beside the car-park and love a bit of attention.
Hope to see you back at the Agrodome soon!

“Up close and personal with sheeps”
Reviewed 6 August 2014 via mobile

Had the best time here! Their sheep show is wonderful and entertaining with each sheep having its own unique personality. Lots to learn and some wonderful surprises along the way. Their farm tour is also worthwhile, take in beautiful landscapes and get up close to feed sheep, lambs, alpacas, see impressive beef cattle and deer and had my first ever taste of kiwi fruit wine. You get to pick your own fruit and eat straight of the tree too. Delightful. A well spent 2-3 hours. Kids will be especially thrilled.
