Manoir de Boisairault

What a wonderful find! This bed and breakfast is tucked away in the village of Coudray Macouard and the owners Jean- Pierre and Beatrice couldn't make you more welcome! Nothing is too much trouble and you are immediately made to feel "at home". We stayed in the deluxe room and it feels as if you have a wing of the charming house to yourself. If you are looking for a peaceful and tranquil location this the place for you.Breakfast was served in a charming dining room and consisted of delicious breads and croissants with home made conserves and and wonderful coffee. This b&b was so good we are staying again on our way home from Spain, need I say more.

Room Tip: All rooms are charming. The deluxe room is in a wing of the house and feels like a private area.

Hidden behind an imposing gateway are many gems. Our family was welcomed as guests and we left feeling like friends. Our hosts made our short stay a very memorable occasion. Jean-Pierre, Beatrice and their delightful children shared their home, garden, pets and a magical surprise with us, an adventure we will always remember. Absolutely every detail was perfect, the hospitality, the accommodation, decor, breakfast. A truly French experience. Thank you.

Room Tip: Sunset from the west wing is pretty special as is the view to the courtyard. Decor is very special.

We stayed here for four days, and loved every minute. What a wonderful, wonderful place. Our room was in the gardens of the house in its own wing with a lovely view out onto the beautiful French garden. Our hosts Jean-Pierre and Beatrice are absolutely fantastic. They made our stay unforgettable. They went out of their way to help us with advice, bookings and Jean-Pierre even ferried us to and from a very nice restaurant in Saumur (with a surprise drive up to the chateau on the hill which was wonderful). Thank you so much to you both and your lovely family for making us so welcome - and Blanche and Babush our four legged friends!!! We loved meeting you all and every minute of our stay which was made perfect by our hosts. Our room was perfect and very spacious, traditionally decorated in the French style. A perfect relaxing time, in which we went wine tasting and had some lovely meals. You must stay here - a gem. Everything you imagine a French experience to be.

Room Tip: We loved our room at the back of the property - very private with great access to the garden.

What a beautiful home, we arrived to a very warm welcome shown to our lovely spacious room, then went to explore the garden and the under ground caves what an amazing place. The breakfast was a feast of excellent quality food and so much to choose from. Went to Saumur for dinner recommended by Jean Pierre was was a very nice place for people watching and nice food. The attention to detail is unbelievable and would highly recommend please to stay here.

We had a lovely stay in this beautiful old manor house; Beatrice and Jean Pierre could not have been more hospitable, our room was very pretty and very comfortable, and we breathed the scent of roses and honeysuckle with the fresh country air through our windows. The gardens are just wonderful, a delight to unwind in at the end of a hard day's tourism. Jean Pierre's kindness in driving us to/collecting us from a restaurant on our first night was greatly appreciated, as were the delicious breakfasts (excellent croissants, fatal!) and the highly useful tips on good local producers for wine tasting/buyiing. Our Lore holiday was made extra special thanks to the warmth of the Delmas family and the charms of their delightful home.

Fantastic French farmhouse property beautifully maintained by Beatrice, with charming & spacious rooms. Warm & hospitable family with cute kids. Great garden and grounds. Excellent breakfast. Highly recommended if u have ur own wheels since it is a little away from nearby sights. Also GPS recommended to find it. But fully worth the effort. Thank you Beatrice. Merci Beaucoup.

Second time I stayed for two days in this wonderful place. This time with friends, again on a businesstrip, so we occupied al four rooms. This time again we were politely suggested to leave our car at the Manoir and have the owners bring us back and forth to the wine-tasting/diner, so we could have a glass...just an example of the kindness of Jean Pierre and Beatrice. The last nights supper was excellent as well, and a perfect last night after three days of work.
