We arrived a bit earlier (7.20)than they were anticipating despite being told to arrive at 7/7.15 the previous evening when they were closed. The service was gruff, only smiles from from one waitress. Food was quite good but I think l not having the full antipasti menu upset the owner. We had 4 antipasti without the meat and 1 ravioli, 2 risotto, I very small carafe of white wine, 1 red and 2 water. When we ordered he didn't even want to take our order for the main course. Compared to the previous night which was excellent at Bernadis just down the road it didn't compare. We decided to have our dessert at Bernadis. Our bill was €90 and when we complained the owner was furious! There were no prices anywhere and I think he just makes up the menu as he pleases depending on how busy they are or what you order. I wouldn't recommend it as he was so grumpy although what we had was ok. If you have a choice go to Trattoria Bernadi just down the road where you are treated with a smile, enormous portions (almost too much) , little tastes and treats and much better food. A real shame for our last evening in the area!

If you have had a big mid-day meal, do not come here for dinner! One needs to be very hungry before attempting to handle the large portions of well-prepared food at an excellent price. Truly, this is the place for those who love fungi Italian style. Service was a bit gruff, perhaps because we speak poor Italian, but the meal was excellent: fresh food prepared in the local style. Exactly what we wanted. Warning: if you're not a local, this place may be a bit difficult to find, but it's worth the effort to find it.

Fantastic mushroom based food. Excellent antipasti, delicious home-made ravioli, like the ones made by my grandmother. Very good grilled meat.
Lovely veranda with view on the valley and the mountains.
Good price for the variety and the quality.
These are the pluses.
Now to the minuses. Do not expect the best of the services. Just one of the waiters had a resemblance of a smile...
Horrible, terrible and painful noise on the veranda, probably due to bad acoustics. Had to leave twice for some relief. Add to that they left a child, maybe a member of the family, to cycle INSIDE the restaurant while screaming!!!
