My husband and I stayed here for a night. We had a few problems finding the house and after a couple of phone calls for directions from the owner we arrived.
The house is set just off a busy road but has it's own large garden and off road parking. The garden was absolutely stunning even though it was quite early in the year. You are very welcome to sit out if you wish and enjoy the peace (which there is even though the road is just behind) and the views over the surrounding countryside.
On arrival we were greeted by Mary who was very welcoming and having shown us to our room told us tea and home made cake would be waiting for us in the sitting room. This was a lovely touch and really made you feel welcome.
The room was lovely and had a very nice en-suite with great views over the garden and surrounding countryside.
Breakfast was good and plentiful and set us up for our journey home.
There is a pub just down the road which did pub grub and was within walking distance other wise a short drive into town gave you plenty of options for dining or a drink.
We will definitely be going back for another visit as it was an all round excellent experience.
