An exquisite hotel, settled on a beautiful beach. After travelling south of Brazil, it was wonderful to find a charming hotel in a quiet spot. the hotel is close to a very little town and the beach is all for yourself.
the rooms are big with a view on the ocean
the staff is extremely welcoming, and is devoted to please you
super breakfast, very pleasant restaurant, marvelous spa
we had an incredible week with our two children, the only regret was not to stay more
we are looking forward to going back as soon as possible

Room Tip: choose a room with ocean view

stayed there 5 nights from dec 28th to jan 2nd. room 42.The location is perfect, just in front of an amazing quiet beach. The hotel, however, is poorly managed. The staff is extremely polite but badly trained. Beverages (from beers to fruit juices) were always warm. ALWAYS. Even the sparkling wine on new year's eve. Room cleaning was a disaster, forgot to clean used glasses, didn't replace toilet amenities and they simply didn't clean the bathroom on jan 1st. The owner, a french guy, only spoke to french guests. Lots of then weren't even guests at the inn but used all the facilities. The staff, however, is friendly and they did their best to fix any problem but it's tiring to complain all the time. The food is good, especially at breakfast, but who wants to have dinner and drink warm white wine? AC wasn't working in the first day, they got it fixed dec 29th by 4pm. Some guests were received with coconut water during check-in, others were not. The rooms are nice and the bed is really comfortable. With a little effort it'll be great, but not now.

I'm sorry I was not able to give you the attention you deserved despite the busy end of year.
Old friends of mine surprised me by coming to celebrate my birthday at Pontal for my 40th, and effectively I devoted some of my time to them.

Thank you for your comments which are always helpful to us, as we seek excellence. Our staff is very attentive, helpful, smiling and always trying their best,  however our intensive training does not offer a faultless service yet. Let us not forget that 100% of our staff comes from our village, an authentic  fishing village, and that training will take longer than in a big city.

On the other hand, I hope that you enjoyed the tranquility, beauty, energy of the place and our cheerful team.  I have faith that on your next visit we will offer an impeccable service.

The hotel is just perfect! If you are looking for a peaceful place, with a nice beach, great service and very comfortable rooms; this is the place for you. The hotel is very well kept, the beds are comfortable, everything is clean ans tasteful. They really thought of every little detail. The restaurant is very good! Portions are reasonable and the price is fine. The pool is peaceful, and the hotel staff is extremely nice! I strongly reccomend this hotel if you are looking for a peaceful vacation, its doesnt get better than this!

Room Tip: Apartments facing the ocean are better!

Even though we found the room a little bit overpriced (we got the Deluxe one) and the pool with no charm compared to other similar hotels in Ceará, it was a nice stay!

The staff is very friendly, the restaurant is really beautiful and it was nice to be able to smell the food we were about to eat beem prepared in the kitchen. Taste was as good too.

My wife used the spa service and the massuse have gifted hands, in her opinion, in which I trust :)

I still miss it. This is like a piece of paradise, in a perfect idyllic and isolated location, but still so well connected - full speed internet, TV, reasonable roads out, etc. The rooms are huge, very comfortable, very modern - like staying in a modern Brazilian beach house. The food is fantastic, we never even left the hotel to eat once during the whole week. The beach is amazing, we walked alone for miles each way. The sea is mostly calm. There is a constant breeze to keep you cool. The perfect place to relax, even with a little library, newspapers, DVDs, a game room. The pool is lovely too. And the best part was the service... such lovely people. Make sure you get at least one massage, great spa! Will definitely return...

Room Tip: we thought it was worth paying a little extra for the sea view rooms, nothing like lying on the hammock looking out at the sea...
