We stayed a week. Our room was in the main building. It was spacious with a li le garden of its own. The main building is very old and has been beautifully restored and sympathetically furnished. There is a spacious shaded outdoor terrace overlooking vineyards and olive trees,a good sized pool and English style lounges. The food was good with a reasonable choice but we were glad that we had demi pension for half of the stay and ate in several excellent restaurants in the area the rest of the time. Service was sometimes rather erratic but the staff are friendly and helpful. Dinner in late September outdoors is sometimes a resfreshing experience!

I wish we had more time to spend in Radda and at Relais Vignale. The hotel sits across the street from a lovely hill top walled town. Radda is small, quiet, and convenient for day trips throughout Chianti; it has a number of good restaurants--including the one at our hotel and very few tourists. We had an amazing room under the pool (yes, under the pool). We had a living room that easily sat 6 (friends from across the street hung out at our place), huge bath, large bedroom and an amazing patio with views that went forever. I can't imagine any room being any less in this lovely old estate. Breakfast was great, served inside because we had rain, but typically outside on another fabulous covered patio. I highly recommend having a bottle of Chianti waiting for you and that you tour their winery and try the cute restaurant there as well. Their website is very easy to book rooms and everything was exactly as they said it would be. We could have stayed a month! It was really an excellent place to stay.

WOW! That just about sums up this place! My extended family (5 adults) stayed here for our first visit to Tuscany and we were speechless.
For someone looking for peace, quiet, soul searching, you name it, this is THE PLACE for you! The scenery is breathtaking, the food divine, rooms comfortable and the staff is excellent. Mauro at the desk bent over backwards for us and we can't THANK him enough!
The pool was great to cool off in and the view of the vineyards was spectacular. Breakfast on the veranda each morning was wonderful and included in the price of the room.
If you are looking for the true "Tuscan" experience, this is it! I felt like I was living in a movie the whole time. It really is HEAVEN on EARTH!

I was treated to a surprise one-night stay here by my fiancee, and wish that I didn't have to leave. The hotel is charming, and tremendously enchanting. Warm service throughout: quick check-in, staff who were happy to help my fiancee plan the 24 hours that we were there, including restaurants in and around Radda. Were upgraded to a very large suite, with a private terrace, and view of the vineyards that were to die for! With a glass of prosecco, it was heaven on earth. Great pool, with the same views. Very quiet, awesome for whiling away an afternoon by the pool taking in the views, drinking a glass of wine (or 3) and reading. Awesome and plush lounges (a number of them), where it would be great on a cold night to sit besides the fire. Very comfortable, although not quite plush rooms. Old school decor. I loved it, and would certainly return.

Everything was excellent. The front desk personnel were over the top accomodating. The restaurant for dinner and the wait staff were excellent. The morning breakfasts which are included in your room rate were delicious; from the fresh locally grown fruit to the cappacino. The grounds are phenomenal. This was our first visit to Tuscany...and we're 100% sure we picked the right place to stay.

we loved our stay at relais fattoria vignale . we stayed for 5 nights and had a wonderful time. a great thing about this charming place is that is has a central town location so you can take walks in the evening but at the hotel you feel as if you are in the country. check in was warm and friendly and the room was peaceful , roomy and quiet. we loved the staff...they made dinner reservations and ufizzi reservations gladly...to sit out at the pool with a drink overlooking the vinyard and olive trees was classic..the breakfest outside on the dining room terrace was fine and we never had to wait for our cappucinos...we ate dinner at the hotel twice and found the lamb, veal and pasta dishes quite good....we looked at other hotels in the chianti area during our stay and were real happy wity this chioce...the hotel also had several small[ 6 to 8 people] indoor public areas...internet service that ran well and a small bar...ringing the hand bell always brought prompt service...this place was great

We stayed here on honeymoon and the proprietors were kind enough to upgrade our room and give us a bottle of champagne too. The property is old & traditional and very charming. There is a lovely swimming pool overlooking some beautiful Chianti countryside. Breakfast is good on a terrace with a good view. We had some difficulty booking a vienyard tour and got the impression that not all the reception staff were familiar with local options. Overall though very happy with the stay. Don't rely on wi-fi access, the connections are unreliable.
