I have stayed in this hotel for 3 nights with my boyfrind in early August 2010. Overall, we were very happy with your stay and would recommend this place. The hotel is a huge villa. There are actually 2 parts of it. One on each side of the street. We stayed in the main part with the pool. If you stay at the other (much smaller) part you need to always cross the street to go the hotel. Room: We got the superior room. It was kind of dark as the windows were really small. We asked to change rooms immediately after we walked in but they told us that they are full and we cannot change. Maybe they really were full but it was not very good customer services not to change our room. The room was small for a superior room but all the rooms in Italian hotels are like that. TV is tiny but there is also not a whole lot of programs to watch and you shouldn't really travel to Italy for the cable channels. View, pool and surrounding area: The hotel is in the middle of the Chianti area. It is known for wines and olive oil. It has lots of hills with vineyards and olive trees (surprise!).
