“Nice location in center of Radda.”
Reviewed 31 October 2013

Caffe Niccolo, attached to the hotel, sits in the center of Radda in the old town by a small piazetta. Right below the church. Good for a quick cup of coffee while shopping or strolling through. We didn't eat anything. Small and convenient. We did use the hotel's Wi-Fi and the front desk help was very nice.

“Nice mozzarella”
Reviewed 29 October 2013 via mobile

Admittedly only stopped for breakfast and perhaps waiter got out of bed the wrong side but can't say we felt either welcomed or well looked after. The breakfast panini's are of the frozen baked baguette type with cold fillings but can't fault the cherry tomatoes or mozzarella inside. The tea comes DIY style with a pot of hot water and some sachets but at least you choose the bag type and get a couple of cups. The coffee was good but as a decaf drinker, disappointed that was not an option. That's all I can say really...

“Wonderful location, average food”
Reviewed 1 September 2013

This cafe has one of the best locations in the village, overlooking the town square. As a result it is an ideal setting ideal for a coffee, but while the cold meat and cheese selection is good the cooked food is VERY poor. Head elsewhere for a meal, and then come here for a coffee afterwards.

“Not a nice place to eat”
Reviewed 28 August 2013

The location of this caffe is quite lovely, but we experienced expensive food that wasn't worth half of the price we paid for it paired with unfriendly waiters. While the tortellini, the lasagne and the panini tasted okay, the bruschetta (5,00€) turned out to be just some barely toasted slices of normal bread with thick slices of tomatoes on top - nothing more: no spices, no oil, not even salt. You had to ask for these ingredients so you could season the bruschetta yourself. Although there were three waiters serving only a couple of tables outside, we had to ask two times for a clean knife and the bill. Nevertheless, the cafe seems quite popular. Maybe the coffee is good, but we didn't stay to have any.

This cafe is next to the hotel, where you can sit outside and people watch while you enjoy some really good cold prosecco and antipasti.
