Beautiful small hotel in the main square of Radda. Our room`s window had s view to the main door of medieval church. I could hear singing of nuns on Sunday morning.
Room was tinny, but very cozy and clean.
Staff was very professional and helpful. Their suggestions for our sightseeing program were perfect!

Beautiful hotel right in the center of Radda. Very welcoming and helpful staff. Our room was quite large right at the corner of the "main" street and the fountain. A very patient & helpful young lady at he desk made several phone calls to assist in selecting a restaurant as our first two choices were closed...with no explanation or sign in their windows.

I spent a night at Palazzo San Niccolo' during a cycling tour in Tuscany. Personnel was kind and efficient, showed me my room straight away after checking in and offered a small locked garage on the main road especially set for bicycles.
The room was comfortable, clean, elegant and with a view over the city main street.
The bathroom was roomy, clean and with a window! How much better that the sort of cubicles artificially lighted at all time of the day prevailing in the hotel industry. Looked as being at home.
Breakfast free, admittedly self service but I was going to pedal my way to Florence and did not wish to over eat, so I cannot judge of the food available. Will definitely come back.

Room Tip: The corner room I got has two windows, painted roof beams, comfortable large and long bed.

With all of the staff very helpful and friendly, this hotel was perfect for a night in Radda! We had some rental car problems and do not speak any Italian, the receptionist made several calls for us and made all of our problems disappear. Thank you!! Breakfast was also excellent. A more friendly hotel is hard to come by.

We stayed at this hotel for one night as part of a cycling group, and we enjoyed our time in Radda overall. I have to say though that the hotel, while nice, was not particularly memorable in comparison with others on the trip. The room was acceptable - large enough and clean, but with not much natural light (small windows near the ceiling). One highlight was the beautiful sitting/reading room near our door. We didn't have to pay for breakfast, but I presume that's because it was covered on our tour, and not included as another review points out. At any rate, it was very good - standard Italian 2-star hotel breakfast fare (IMO better than big tourist hotels), but well made and fresh. One warning - if you can help it don't eat at the cafe across the little square from the main street. We got badly ripped off for gelato. But oh well it was the only place in town that had any, and we were determined. There's a good shop for meat and cheese on the square though.

We stayed for 3 nights in this charming quaint find in Radda in Chianti, a small town in Tuscany. Breakfast was ample and fresh. A huge part of the ambiance of this hotel was being in the center of the piazza, one of the little towns in Tuscany. The rooms were large, comfortable and clean. The accommodation was country living with modern conveniences. The staff were hospitable, nice & friendly, helpful and attentive. There were plenty of excellent restaurants that you can easily walk to at night. The town has interesting shops too. We highly recommend Palazzo San Niccolo.

We stayed two nights at this hotel. By Italian standards, the room was large, as was the bathroom. Many of the rooms are equipped with showers that have multiple nozzles – presumably to provide a Jacuzzi effect. However the unit takes up almost half of what is already a small shower – not really functional. Further the drain I our shower was partly clogged requiring you to shut off the shower multiple times to allow the water in the catch basis to drain. Notified the front desk of the problem, but the problem persisted throughout our stay. Breakfast was OK and the staff was attentive. In hindsight, Radda hasn’t much to offer and can be done as a day trip.

First of all, we want to thank you for the time you dedicated to write this review, that is a fundamental part of our job and that stimulates us to improve more and more our services.
Regarding the shower, during the restoration of the ancient building of Palazzo San Niccolò we decided to put this very modern unit for Hydromassage in order to give a better service.
Maybe if you were in our shoes, you decided in a different way putting a simple shower, but as you know, we have guests all over the world, so we have been trying to satisfy the greatest part of them.
We understood the discomfort of the drain of the shower and we tried to resolve the problem as soon as possible, but unfortunately we should have waited for your departure for the plumber. Logically, if your stay had been more that 2 nights, we would have proposed to you another room.
However, we are extremely sorry , as we did not communicate in a proper way, what we had arranged of doing.
Thank you very much for the nice words about the staff!
Hoping to have you as our guests again very soon,
Best regards
