My husband ,myself and in laws found this lovely looking town house on TripAdvisor.we were looking for a couple of days stop off whilst touring round Abruzzo. It looks so quaint from the outside, there is a key coded lock with the keys in which was very easy to use.when we opened the front door we couldn't believe how lovely from the front door onwards the 2 bedroomed house was.The bedrooms on two floors are both good sizes the beds were all made and the rooms were clean and tidy. The bathroon was clean and tidy too,The bath towels were also included which was good for us as we only had small suitcases. The living room is also a good size with 2 double settees, there is a lovely looking fireplace which I would imagine in winter will be cozy when burning the logs. There is also a TV and dvd player with plenty of choice of dvds.Downstairs there is a big spacious kitchen with a modern units and all appliances needed,a large dining table and a welsh dresser, there are patio doors which lead onto a small decking area overlooking beautiful views of the gorge, there are table and chairs and if you want a bbq that is provided too.Overall a beautiful town house in a very quaint village. There are a couple of bars nearby 2 shops and a pizzeria if you are feeling peckish. We had a walk around the monestry grounds and stream a short drive away from the house.Overall we had a lovely couple of days staying in this house in fact we were sorry to leave. We would stay there again if visiting the area and will recommend to friends too.
No 29 gave my partner exactly what we were looking for. The house is extremely well equipped with all the appliances you need. It felt like a home from home. Really enjoyed sitting at the kitchen table taking in the view across the Alento valley in the morning sunshine. Wonderfully comfortable bed. The welcome tray is a very nice touch.
The house is not going to suit everybody, but the important thing for me is that it more than met my expectaions of a property in a small Abruzzese village and gave my wife and I a holiday to remember. I can't thank the owners enough.

My girlfriend and I stayed here in July 2016 as we wanted a change of scenery. It was absolutely fantastic!
The house is located in a beautiful, yet peaceful town with idyllic views. The owners had left us a helpful guide to ensure that we made the most of our stay- it recommended local (and very good) restaurants, as well as activities to do during our stay. We did stay in for a night and cooked our own tea, which was easy to do in the fully furnished and equipped kitchen, accompanied with a beautiful view out of the patio doors and decked garden.
Additionally, the bed linen smelt so fresh and we were also given bath towels AND beach towels- which was perfect as we did forget to pack ours!
The DVDs supplied made our night in even more perfect as we were able to snuggle up in the living room and watch English TV.
We also had a ponder around the village and there are some beautiful walks (especially around the church) which we thoroughly enjoyed!
I would 100% recommend this perfectly situated holiday house as it is clear the owners have not skipped any corners!
Me and four other friends (aged 19-20) stayed here for a long weekend and we all absolutely loved it! We liked every thing about it, from the town, the people, the house and the activities. We ended up doing snow shoe walking which was a fantastic experience. Everyone felt that it was excellent value for money and we have no complaints. As a group, we were all so sad to leave but we will definitely be returning shortly and be recommending this to family and friends.
It is such a cute house located in the centre of the town. It is clear that the owners spent a lot of time and effort to refurbish it to amazing standards. The kitchen is newly fitted and equipped with all kitchen essentials. The sitting room has a log burner which we took full advantage of as it really set the ambience and gave off so much heat! It also has a TV and a DVD player which were easy to use. The bathroom was clean, had an amazing shower, and towels were also provided which was very helpful as we only took hand luggage. The bedrooms each came with drawers, wardrobes and spectacular views! We loved the fact that all the beds were so comfy and had electric blankets!
The town is stunning; it has the typical old Italian style buildings which were surrounded by spectacular views. It only takes about 10 minutes to walk around the whole town, but it includes a butchers, two shops, a cafe and a sports bar (which includes wifi). We absolutely loved the quiet atmosphere as it instantly made you feel relaxed. The people who live in the town are so friendly! Every time we visited the shops or bars, they would always be happy to help and also taught us some Italian!
One of the days we were there, we went to the top of the town to explore the waterfalls and amazing scenery. It was such a peaceful walk on which we spent hours on!
They helped us to organise a snow shoeing walk through a local guide. We also went skiing & snowboarding at Passo Lanciano which was really enjoyable and only a short drive away.
We recently stayed in this beautiful townhouse and had a fantastic few days of skiing - the resort is a short 15 minute drive away, with long pistes. The house itself was very clean, with all linen provided, and there was a welcome pack on arrival with tea and coffee. The key was very easy to access by using a coded lock box. Would recommend!!
On arrival was given a code to get the key, which was so easy. The owners had left us a lovely welcome pack with some of the essentials- tea, coffee and wine! The kitchen was huge and very spacious, and had a great view across the gorge over to the mountains. The beds were freshly made up and even had electric blankets. Although in the middle of a village, close to local shops, it was nice and quiet. The local ski fields were a short 20 minute drive away. Excellent value for money - and worth a stay!
