You enter the hotel like a grand Villa, Stone columns flank the wrought iron gates as you drive onto the motor court. Be prepared because the concierge checking you in does not speak any english, deutsch, french or any other language besides Italiano. However, they are so nice and what starts out as an uncomfortable moment turns into a sort of friendship.
The rooms are large and beautifully decorated in an old world Italian villa style, emulating a time long gone in the past and has been recreated in this villa. In the evening the large fountain in the piazza below sings you to sleep.
Ok not the nitty gritty stuff. Some of the rooms do not have wifi even though the trip advisor listing says so. So beware to order a wifi room at an additional cost, oh and by the way he wifi kicks you out about every 10 minutes or so. The breakfast is so so. However, the freshly made cappuccinos are fantastic.
