This is the place to come if you wish to have a real break with a local flavour. Ideal for couples and families and a flexible view on life. The hamlet of Banne set on the Slovenia/Italy border is a three minutes car ride from the larger neighbouring small townlet with shops and restaurants etc.

Rooms are first class, lounge facilities and small bar with plenty of outside seating area/ free parking. Lots of info on places to go from the owner and a choice of Slovenian mountains, Italian Trieste or the beaches of Istria less than 20 minutes away.

Lle hyfryd iawn a Croeso Bendigedig yma bob tro. Dewch yn llu!

Room Tip: Get a room with a view of the Slovenian Alps

This nice family-run hotel provided a good stop-over in Trieste area close the the highway, allowing a quick dash into the city.
We arrived at 14:00, had to stop the passer-by to ask for directions for this single hotel in a small mountain village of Banne. The owner met us at the door, with excellent English and checked us in immediately. The hotel reception area greeted us with the great strong smell of Italian coffee.
The owner also proposed to us to stay for dinner. But, since we planned to go to spend time in the city, he suggested that to dine there will be a better solution. The breakfast is good, the coffee is excellent. Actually the coffee machine in the breakfast room made a better espresso, than one prepared by the lady owner.

The area is a bit noisy. The rooster calls several times in the early morning and there was some nervous and noisy dog around.

Overall -- a very nice place to stop over for a night.

Room Tip: More or less the same.

We chose the hotel looking Trip Advisor feedback and i'd say that is the Italian hotel I like !!!!
Family management really flexible and open to support customer needs with really kind approach indeed.
They offer clean room with air conditioning, wifi and pay TV free of charge: the breakfast is continental and offer salt and sweet food to satisfy all needs whilst the dinner offer basic courses but really good and taste !!!!
I strong recommend such hotel just outside Trieste

Marco looked after us during our stay in Banne, while this hotel is located outside of Trieste we loved that fact, the breakfast was good and plentiful and there is plenty of parking if require. We loved the fact that the hotel was in a quiet area and near the ring road. It is an excellent family run hotel

Room Tip: Spend a little extra and get a room with a balcony

Chose this hotel because of its location in a hamlet in deep woods on the plateau above Trieste yet close to the motorway and a short drive into the city with some scepticism. However turns out to be a substantial family run hotel established to service a large army base now closed on what was then the Iron curtain and now works hard to attract a new clientele. Very clean with a nice ambiance, helpful and affable owners and silent at night. Very good value and excellent meal at night. Breakfast the typical Italian redeemed by amazing pastries.
