“The Old Quay Inn & Devoran.”
Reviewed 16 April 2014

Between Truro & Falmouth that for years we have meant to check out and today was the day. First the Village is quite worth a trip especially should you be a Dog walker,Walker or Cyclist as it has some splendid routes as well as a nice green on the river side with seating so ideal for a packed lunch outdoors.
If on the other hand you like a good no frill pub with free parking, attentive and happy staff that is spotless as well as serving some good food and ale, this is the place for you.
Dog friendly, informal, garden eating area, papers to browse while waiting for your food and a great view.......what more on a fine day could you want.......oh nearly forgot, they have two double rooms available.

“Excellent lunch welcoming atmosphere”
Reviewed 13 April 2014 via mobile

Visited this pub for second time for Sunday lunch after a lovely walk along the estuary. The food was excellent with a great choice well presented and generous portions and service good with a smile, the team working today made you feel very welcome. Pub was clean and had a relaxed atmosphere. Good selection of beers the Doom Bar and Betty Stoggs both went down a treat. We will no doubt visit again.

“Meal for three”
Reviewed 5 April 2014 via mobile

We went here for an early evening meal. They have a good range of Cornish bears. The pub is popular with locals.

Parking can be difficult as there is only a small car park for the inn.

They have a good range of locally caught fish, as well as standard pub grub. I had mussels to start which were very fresh, followed by Hake. It was delicious and beautifully cooked and presented.

The young waitress served us with a lovely smile.

I strongly recommend this inn.

“Great location, great pub and great food”
Reviewed 15 February 2014

What a nice find on a wet windy day. Lovely fire burning and just managed to get a table on a busy Saturday lunchtime. Parking can be fun but don't let that put you off. Good food, nice people and the rugby on the TV - what more can you ask? Had the pan fried black pudding, pancetta and poached egg - worth the visit alone.

“Fabulous fishcakes”
Reviewed 2 February 2014 via mobile

Why were these fish cakes fabulous? Because they weren't actually on the menu, but when the landlord overheard one of us say we fancied a fish cake, he offered to have the boys in kitchen rustle one up. The result took no longer to make than the rest of our on-menu orders, and was tasty, plump and fresh, as a fish cake should be. 5 stars for customer service - and a friendly atmosphere in a lovely location tucked away above the tidal creek.
