An interesting experience with a friend who had lived in Italy for a couple of years or so. As you walk up the hill the front of the restaurant, perhaps, looks a little uninviting but once inside there is a very airy dining area.
We drank the Italian lager offered which was very pleasant starters were the Calamari and a small portion of pasta. Both were delicious and we did note the number of fish dishes on the menu which is in keeping with a restaurant named after a town on the coast.
We had pizzas for main course and they were equally delicious. Watch out for the chilli oil bottle. The caps are not screwed on properly and I dropped ours. The waitress was very quick to come to our rescue.
The staff were very friendly and the whole meal was a very pleasant experience.
A couple of minor things to bring up.... Cream in Carbonara? And how about a wee bit more Italian on the Menu like for the amazing pizza Tutta la Carne sounds far better than “all the meet”
