“Lovely little oasis”

Stayed here for two nights whilst visiting family nearby. We stayed in room number one, it was beautifully decorated, very clean and comfortable with all mod cons and en suite. The room was overlooking the garden with the main road and Tarn pub nearby. Julie alerted us when we booked that the beer festival was on at the pub during our stay, saying that it could be quite noisy. However we found neither the road or the pub to be a disturbance and we had two very good nights sleep. The morning breakfast was more than adequate, with something for everyone. There is one large breakfast table meaning that guests mingle in the mornings and we found it very enjoyable, having conversations with other guests from other parts of the country. We would have no hesitation in staying at Willow Cottage again.

Like many guests we booked this B and B to provide a night's stay after late arriving flight at Leeds /Bradford airport. Good communication meant that after midnight arrival, key was easy to find and Garden Room 5 very welcoming and accessible. We met Julie a few hours later at an excellent breakfast and a short ten hour stay was complete! We will certainly return to spend a longer stay at this great value high standard B and B. Lovely place in a lovely village ideally located for Ilkley and Harrogate. Took a bit of finding and getting parked up, but was warmly greeted by Julie with tea and biscuits. Stayed in the Garden Room which was beautifully decorated and spacious. Breakfast was superb, with a choice of full English, kippers, porridge, fresh fruit salad as well as many choices of cereal. Julie was very knowledgeable of the are and advised us on places to eat during the evenings. A most enjoyable stay and will definitely return on our next visit to Yorkshire.

We booked here because of its proximity to Leeds Bradford Airport - a 10 minute drive. We were warmly welcomed by Julie who was looking out for us. We stayed in the Garden Room which opens on to the very English garden. The room is lavishly furnished with all top notch amenities. A lovely restful night to recover from jetlag. Many thanks Julie, this was a wonderful start to our trip. We wish we could have stayed longer.

With the rolling hills in the distance, a very warm and well appointed bed and breakfast, and a fresh cup of tea. It doesn't get much more British than that!

I enjoyed spending evenings watching the world cup with the owners, and cycling the magnificent scenic roads during the day. I wish I could of stayed longer. (unfortunately just 2 nights before the work week began in Leeds City Center.. my hotel there was no way near as nice!)

I look forward to coming back, I've told work to put me up here every time I'm in the area!

Greeted by Julie and 2 lovely cats we knew Willow Cottage would be a good experience. We only stayed 1 night (gig in Leeds followed by trip to Harlow Carr) but the shortness of our stay did not diminish the welcome we had. Stayed In the Garden Room, which leads onto the secluded lawn and flower borders, still decorated with yellow bunting from the weekend. We enjoyed a cup of tea relaxing on the chairs outside before heading off for our evening. Our room was thoughtfully furnished and very well presented. Breakfast was wonderful, fresh fruit salad and the full English includes black pudding. I love sitting round a table with other guests Irish style and this is the tone of this B&B. a stylish, welcoming B&B in a good place for exploring Leeds and Harrogate if not further a field.

Room Tip: The Garden Room has it's own entrance and is romantic and stylish. Great rainfall shower.

This is a seriously excellent B & B. The rooms, decor and food are very high quality, but the friendliness and sassy banter of Julie and Harvey are what really sets it apart. We were on a golf trip (there are some great courses in the vicinity) and had a really great time in no small part due to their hospitality.

Room Tip: There are no bad rooms. The garden room is probably the quietest but the property is in a relatively...
