“It's been 30 years”
Reviewed 17 June 2012

Haven't been to The Lamb for 30 years so thought we would give it a try when visiting our old 'stomping' ground. The staff although very young were very cheerful, but we did have to ask for a second round of drinks three times before getting them. The meal was excellent but after spending time choosing our meals from the menu were told that they don't do steaks on Sundays which was a bit bad so Ham Hock and Lasagne it was instead, both of which were ample servings and the sauce with the hock was superb. Will definitely go back another day to try the steaks as someone was telling us they were very good as was most of the menu, My only complaint would be that as it was Father's day and lots of large groups, we felt ignored as we were only a party of two whereas others were being told what was and was not on the menu, and asked if everything OK but we weren't

“Great value,Service & Food”
Reviewed 7 June 2012

We went for lunch & are very pleased that we did, Really good value and fabulous meals with great service. The pub is beautiful on the inside & has a great outside area for those warm summer days. We will be back shortly to try the evening menu. Highly recommended.
