We visited this restaurant on a quiet Sunday night on a recommendation from where we were staying in Faja Grande, the next town. Sadly we were the only customers all evening but that did not detract from the food which was excellent. Shared the usual Azores bread/cheese/jam then for mains we had the roasted tuna and the veal with chestnuts (which seemed more like a slow braised beef to us but it was delicious nonetheless). Shared a dessert and a bottle of Pico wine, think we paid 50 euros including tip. A word of warning about location - unless you have a car plan your transport very carefully. We got a lift there from the owner of our guesthouse but struggled to find a taxi back (they are all in Santa Cruz anyway but all were busy) and ended up getting a lift from some friends of the owners! Definitely give this place a try though if you are on Flores and able to get there.
