I've been here a couple of times over the years. Once for a fabulous lunch at the restaurant - great food, beautiful surrounds. This most recent trip was to the fish & chips takeaway for dinner after the Penguin Parade and it's great fish & chips. Fresh, quick and definitely not greasy.

By far the best fish and chips on Phillip Island.
Plated meals or boxed.
The chips were super crunchy and the fish was amazing grab your food and head across to the beach grab a picnic table and enjoy.
We were not disappointed at all

What is left to say other than that! Great service - INCREDIBLE fish and chips - really good value for money. Deck out really well - will definitely head back!

Was a pleasant change to the usual muck you get at most fish and chip shops. Fish and scallops I ate were fresh and not over cooked, and chips also quite good. Batter was not too thick or greasy, but light and very crispy. Oil must have been fresh as there was none of that common smell of putrid oil with remnants of last weeks meals still floating around.
I would highly recommend this place to people and will be visiting again next time I visit the island.

Chips were very good, as were the potato cakes, but the fish we had on this particular night was clearly not fresh - tasted old (not off, just old) and texture was rubbery. I suspect it was frozen. We also prefer our dim sims steamed rather than fried. This was not available at Tides. Not sure why bc steamers are so cheap.
