“Comfortable Launch Pad for Resting and Sight Seeing Northern Ireland”
Reviewed 20 February 2016 for a stay in February 2016

This cozy loft is everything it is advertised to be and more. It is quiet, well kept, close to Giant's Causeway, the rope bridge, Duneluce castle bush mills, and half a dozen awesome little seaside villages. The Landlord is the kind of guy you'd want to keep in touch with after staying there. Chickens kept at the main house might even lay some eggs for you.

Liked best: The quiet location
Liked least: It was cold there, but that had nothing to do with the house, and more to do with the date of our travel (feb)

“Great place”
Reviewed 6 November 2015 for a stay in October 2015

Stayed here for 3 nights with hubbie and 2 kids. Geoff was very welcoming and friendly. Inside was lovely, this is an upstairs apartment but it is much more - spacious, shower, bath, dvd's, computer and all mod cons including tvs in the bedrooms which was great for the kids to unwind. The place above is very secure not only for parking but also with kids as they could play outside as located well off the road with a secure garden. Location was great Bushmills less than 15 mins and the dark hedges 15 mins opposite direction. Really enjoyed our stay here

“Fantastic Stay at "The Place Above"”
Reviewed 18 August 2015 for a stay in August 2015

My Husband, myself and our two boys stayed here for a week in August. The place is fantastic. Geoff is so welcoming and was there the minute we arrived to show us around. The size of the place was perfect for our family and the boys loved the fact they had a tv in their room :) although they didn't use it. My son's loved the Garden and my youngest especially loved the three chickens which he followed round on several occasions clucking at them. The location is perfect for travelling around the Antrim Coast and the Giants Causeway, rope bridge and other attractions are a short car journey away. You know you have stayed in a good place when the boys don't want to leave and want to go back as soon as possible :)

“Excellent location, Great facility”

We had a 5 day break in Northern Ireland and my wife amazingly found this place on line, and what a gem she unearthed. As soon as we arrived in the secluded spot this is located in we knew we had chosen well. Geoff, the owner, gave us a warm welcome and a quick tour of the flat and we could see that all our basic needs were met. We had a very comfortable stay there and recommend this place for any family getaway. It is ten minutes away from the Giants Causeway, 10 minutes from the Dark Hedges, 10 Minutes from Bush Mills and the amazing whiskey distillery and the shops - there's a Co-op in Bush Mills as well as a another supermarket, and a number of good restaurants. Near the Dark Hedges - used in Game of Thrones, is the Hedges Hotel with a good restaurant. Please try the Red Door coffee house on the way to Ballintoy harbour right next to the Causeway - I rate it the best coffee shop in the UK. Back to the guest house - a well appointed kitchen with separate fridge and freezer, coffee machine, and cooking facilities which are modern and electric. There is a good sized bathroom with shower and bath, a good double bedroom and a twin room. A comfy lounge with Velux windows in the ceiling has a TV with freeview and a DVD player - there are DVD's in a cupboard which are all family friendly. There is free wifi and a desktop computer. I would return here in a heartbeat.

“The apartment was great value for money and Geoff was really friendly, would defiantly go again! If he would have us :)”
Reviewed 16 March 2015 for a stay in March 2015

Geoff was such a friendly and pleasant man to do business with. I highly recommend the apartment it was lovely and cosy but good space at the same time. Got the say the thing I loved best was the pillows in the bedroom! They were great and I didn't want to get out of bed! The apartment is in the country and it's so peaceful but you are literally only a distance from Bushmills, giants causeway and Portrush
I will definitely will be booking this apartment again for the summer.
